Mark Curry's complaint wasn't just about stealing a joke or two, Steve Harvey was stealing his entire set... SMH. Even taking the dudes childhood stories and making them about himself.

Godfrey been indirectly pressing this Bob Sumner/ ghetto comedy vs regular comedy/voicing his frustrations with black people's lack of acceptance of him because he is a proper speaking black dude that be shares similar interests to white people....issue for a while. Bob was being polite in his response. I believe if Bob keeps it all the way real about Godfrey it will upset alot of them Carlton Banks type dudes especially if he got some more of them that he manages. Ngl the 2 different black comedy styles conversation is something i need more of these Comedians to talk about that topic specifically because whenever i hear Godfrey voice his frustrations i be thinking of something similar to what Bob said. Godfrey is funny, but he is better placed on a show with like Sarah Silverman as opposed to a show with Mike Epps.

I remember Corwin Hawkins (Amazing Grace) I knew his sister in Upward Bound College program at U of H. She would always talk about her brother who was a comedian. He had to be just starting out back then because I was in my early yrs of college.

Loved Def Comedy Jam. Gotta write a book! Or just come with the pt. 2, pt. 3...my first intro to his story. Came up on Def Comedy Jam. What a moment in time. Cause you had a lot going on with cable but when that free weekend of HBO hit or when Pops got that bullet connected to the cable to access HBO...aww it was a wrap. A whole new way of thinking.

DEF comedy jam birth 3 to 4 of the goats of comedy out of five I think this was the biggest display of black comedians and DEF comedy jam along with in living color are definitely the two biggest black comedy platforms to bring us legends there will never be another….. Richard Pryor is the goat then there is Eddie Murphy Martin Lawrence Bernie Mac and Dave Chapelle(With Kat Williams being a very close number six)
