  • ptwatercraft.com/ptwatercraft/... - 2018 Race to Alaska was preceeded this year by the first 70/48, human power only, race from Tacoma WA to Port Townsend. Racers had 48 hours to get 70 miles up Puget Sound. Our friend Inger Rankins surprised everyone, especially us, by rowing all night (in our fixed seat, 11 ft nesting dinghy) and finishing within 20 hours. Her Husband Sean took some video as he played leap frog with her up the Sound. Inger's own written narrative is expected to be included with others in Small Craft Advisor or Port Townsend Pocket Yachters.
