    Standard
    4.0L V8 biturbo engine
    Advanced performance comes from a higher-output yet more compact 4.0L biturbo V8. With 463 hp, it's more powerful than its predecessor, matches its 516 lb-ft of peak torque, and outperforms it in both responsiveness and responsibility.
    9G-TRONIC automatic transmission
    With a greater range of ratios and shorter steps between gears, the 9-speed automatic changes gears more quickly but nearly imperceptibly. Along with a more seamless delivery of power, the lighter, more versatile transmission enhances quiet riding comfort and fuel-efficiency.
    4MATIC all-wheel drive
    In any season, on any road, 4MATIC® all-wheel drive adds to your confidence and control. Always engaged and optimizing torque to every wheel, 4MATIC integrates with ESP®, our standard Electronic Stability Program, for maximum effectiveness in corners and slippery conditions. It also incorporates our 4-wheel Electronic Traction System (4-ETS®), which monitors for the first sign of wheel slip and responds to ensure torque is sent to the wheels with the best grip, even if that's only one wheel.
    Design leadership
    With its ideal proportions and distinctive details, the S-Class is at once majestic and athletic. From the double chrome bars in its grille and elegant front apron, to its strong rear shoulders, it clearly conveys the power and strength within.
    AMG body styling (optional)
    Aggressive sculpting of its deep front air dam, flared side sills and rear valence visually hug the road, much like the AMG® wheels included with the AMG Line achieve the same goal in a more literal sense.
    COMAND system with touchpad controller
    The Cockpit Management and Data (COMAND®) system offers intuitive access to a world of entertainment, navigation and convenience. The central controller falls naturally to hand, teaming an intuitive touchpad with a rotary knob and one-touch keys for major functions.
    All-LED exterior lighting
    The first car without a single lightbulb since the advent of electric lighting in automobiles, the S-Class advances its technology with bold style. From its headlamps and triple-band LED Daytime Running Lamps to its three-segment vertical taillamps with intriguing "Stardust" technology, long-lasting and energy-efficient LEDs accomplish every exterior lighting function.
    Heated 16-way power front seats with memory
    Intuitive, and artfully sculpted, seat-shaped controls help you and your front passenger find your ideal seating positions with 16-way power adjustment, including cushion length and 4-way power lumbar support. A memory system for each front seat recalls three stored seat positions with the touch of a button.
    Optional
    Active multicontour front seats with massage
    S 560 4Matic Sedan dimensions
    Wheelbase 124.6 in Curb weight 4,839 lbs Overall length 206.9 in Overall height 58.9 in Overall width 83.9 in (with mirrors)

    At least this S Class doesn't have fake exhausts !☺️

    • @danc1197
      @danc1197 Před 2 lety

      There will always be a gap between the actual exhaust pipes and the holes at the bottom of the bumper because the bumper is attached directly to the body. The exhaust pipes have to hang to allow movement and vibration with the suspension. If they were connected to the bumper they would break off after one speed bump.

    • @argentumboyle249
      @argentumboyle249 Před 4 lety +4

      Yes, the S class will always have horrendous reliability problems... whether it's brand new or 2 years old, it's still going to drain your wallet.... you best just LEASE it first to see how you like the reliability problems... if you can live with all the annoying problems then you can decide to buy when your lease is over... if you hate the reliability problems, then you best get the current Lexus LS500 or the previous generation LS460...

I think she replaced the gasket once, and that is it... still running like brand new... leather seats still look great, especially the rear bench seat since no one hardly sits there... the driver seat has wrinkles but not torn.... everything electrical or mechanical works fine.... grandma might be gone to see her creator long before her Lexus LS400 go see the junkyard....

    After owning Merceds for over 15 years (Last one an ML) and watching the depreciation and high cost of repairs, I've switched to Toyota. Reliable, great resale and a lot more fun to drive. P.S.... my last repair bill was over $7000.00. And, in order to repair the sun roof, which I didn't do, would have cost me....$12,000.00. And, that's not a misprint.

    A couple of friendly suggestions sir. I am a follower. I appreciate and value your efforts. However, two elements of your videography distract from the overall quality of your service. Your hand. Too often it becomes the dominant element without adding value while ping ponging viewers eyes. It is unnecessary to point out everything the camera is focused on. I suggest you intrude your hand - the vehicle, your commentary and video are the stars. Less is more for nonessentials. Point only for emphasis or to call out something unique. Second your camera movement is sometimes jerky and its movement too fast. Linger on highlights, innovations, unique value propositions, important feature / benefits. Your reviews are above average and informative. Let the vehicle sell itself - or not: review it objectively. My intent is to be helpful with this feedback. Checkout Thomas on Autogefühl
    for examples of what I mean. A high-quality camera will solve some of the lighting quality challenges - light, focus, and overall video quality is a differentiator. I've revisited your review several times. It is extremely helpful.

    Mercedes is good for luxury but not reliability

      I’ve had a C class for 10 years and it’s the most reliable car I’ve ever had. I typically spend $500 annually on services, and that’s it. Unless, am replacing brakes or a set of tires.

      Benjamin Sila Mercedes Benz is like concept cars in tech, and yes it's edgy. There is failing, if there is any car brand that has gained reliability it learned from Mercedes concept and accented on it. So follow the leader....Mercedes Benz. I've been a proud owner of different models for 18 years now.

      Interesting you should say that. This doesn't make sense either - "what type of part on this car". For someone who has 2 degrees, I don't need to study more English.

    2015-2020 Mercedes Benz has NOT changed anything exterior or interior. But every one keeps singing praises - even though literally it stayed the same car for last 6 years. Leather/ Materials after all what is that other companies can not reproduce? Mercedes is more expensive by 20-30 k for the same features which even European rivals like BMW and Audi could offer. Asian competition offers more features for less. But , people justify, German engineering, pedigree, you could drive a BMW till the wheels can come off... All emotional statements with little substance. IF you are a tech guy, you could easily see that Mercedes Benz is over engineered, some times technology that is redundant. They do not back their own cars for more than 4 years, or 40000 miles, and this is not just a ploy to extract more money for the willing customers This is about what could possibly go wrong will go wrong. Anyone with some automotive knowledge could easily recognize that reliability is the not the strong suit of Mercedes Benz. Too many repairs and too expensive to repair In the end it becomes an expensive ornamental car to buy which satisfies the ego and puts a hole in the packet. As it is with most things in life, we all want the forbidden fruits, and thus the Benz.
