A lot of people dislike how normal the Hunter is but honestly there is a reason for him being the most normal enemy in the game being the fact that he lives in the wilderness away from the Signal Tower. This shows some kind of significance to the story since there aren't any other enemies aside from possibly the leaches that act normal in the Little Nightmares series. Yeah maybe the taxidermy humans were a little unusual but that shows he isn't 100% normal, but normal compared to the rest of the enemies. My thoughts: I think Hunter is a good boss for the first section and he isn't supposed to be anything great as a first boss either. His introduction in my eyes seemed perfect, but I wouldn't mind seeing a little more to emphasize that he may be an important character to the story aside from kidnapping Six.
Dude, it's literally the only enemy on a horror game that literally hunts you with an gun. No jumpscare or anything like that, you hide and get cover, or no funeral to you. It's one of the best horror charaters i ever saw, and to make it even creepier, he was supposed to have an dog that would chase us

I think the hunter is pretty terrifying and I think why is well the teacher only really tries to kill you when you disrupt her class and the doctor tries killing you if you interrupt his operations! They're monstrous, but mostly focusing on their "jobs." Same with the hunter except his job/hobby is literally hunting you for sport! He has traps set all over the woods to catch tiny kids like you.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that in a world that constantly has giant adult like creatures hellbent on killing you for making the tinests of noises the hunter is the scariest to me. He's actively seeking out those tiny noises and is loading his shotgun and what's worse is this is a world where there's probably a lot of other forests full of bear traps made to ensnare people like six and mono and there's probably dozens of hunters.

In some speculated concept art, we do see the Hunter’s face, which is visibly twisted with one of his eyes either being missing or just non-functional, as well as having a misshaped mouth that resembles a long grin.
The interruption of the music and the silence that follows give a brilliant touch to the scene. The suffocating sound of the hunter is another high point. This game is pure dark poetry.
I think the hunter could possibly make a return in a future dlc. My theory is that the one breathing patient the doctor was keeping alive at the hospital could have been the Hunter, but Mono did end up cutting the power to his life support so it’s a bit hard to depict if he’s still alive or not. Also if you check the wiki for the Hunter’s status it says “presumed dead”.
For some reason, it reminds me of the scene from _Ratatouille_ where the old lady wore a gas mask and hold a shotgun to kill the family of rats after they got exposed.

Running all the way back to your home in a ranch wih acres is not quick, so sometimes gun owners and ranch-hands keep weapons in storage rooms in the field. So it's not out of the realm of possibility. My grampa back in his ranch has a gun in a tool shed next to the sheep to ward off Foxes, bobcats and wolves.

I think there is more to the hunter. Yes he is fucked up however , there is a sadness about him. In his home he made his family son father wife and mother out of parts messed up as it is.
Spatial awareness has always been my greatest enemy in 3D platform games. I love metroidvania games even more because they don't have this problem... other than registering that darn jump command too late too often when jumping off ledges...

The Hunter has to be my favourite Little Nightmares Monster. The entire chapter 1 sequence was a masterpiece in horror.
I am not even PLAYING the game at the moment, just watching this video, and I am tense as all hell. This game has ways of getting under your skin and never getting out.

9:how big he is he can reach the roof of his house

I think there is more to the hunter. Yes he is fucked up however , there is a sadness about him. In his home he made his family son father wife and mother out of parts messed up as it is.
This is game development at its most creative and brilliant. So many things are so well done here. Can't wait to play this.
My favorite boss are The Hunter and the teacher
Imagine being a hard working hunter living in a cabin deep in the woods and then dying to a couple tiny kids that cant lift up a shotgun properly.
Spatial awareness has always been my greatest enemy in 3D platform games. I love metroidvania games even more because they don't have this problem... other than registering that darn jump command too late too often when jumping off ledges...
