Krampus stories in particular
The way he reads this makes it 10x better. He reads it with so much emotion. I almost cried
when he was reading this I was like I bet his father was the killer. then I slowly gave up on that idea.
This was actually a really smartly written story. Typically, in stories like this, the parents would never believe the son about some supernatural entity that’s haunting them. However, because a boy did in fact get kidnapped from his home last year during Christmas, it makes sense why the father of the MC here would humour his son by nailing his windows shut and staying in his room late at night to look over him. Everyone in the neighbourhood grew paranoid from the killer possibly striking again. So, even if the father doesn’t believe the monster being real, he’d reasonably stay to protect his son over the fear of a real muderer. It’s one of the few times where the characters acting smart makes sense within the story while maintaining the conflict intact.
And, the twist ending was brilliant! The MC’s father was the murderer from last year after all! Whatever came this year to their house was something else, and was after the father for revenge. The signs the MC received were from his friend Finn to warn him to get away from his murderous dad. Very well executed twist!

I see, I see. His dad was the killer. What came to the house that night hadn't come for the narrator at all. The opening doors, the hidden images. the dreams...they were from Finn, telling him to get away from his murderous father.

Captain Trolley the father wasnt the killer. I think the people that are taken somehow end up inside the calender (he sees his friend and dad inside the calender at the end).
How/why this happened isnt explained at all

Sharon Taylor if it was the police, they would have busted the door down instead of knocking the unlocking it, his dad killed the children because he was possessed and the person knocking on the door was the Demon really angry because the dad did not give his body to it, and when he found out his son was next, he sacrificed himself to save his son
Edeee Uyg yeah I know what your saying about the police but its up to each readers interpretation of the story and also if they saw him at the window they didn't need to break the door down , not every monster looks like a monster its relative to a mouse a cat is a monster , I do like the idea that he was taken by something other worldly if he was a bad guy .

Love your channel. Can I make one suggestion, though: sometimes you lower your voice and I know is just to set the mood and everything, but many times you lower too much. Pumpimg up the volume would be the obvious solution if suddenly the tune wouldn't go louder and blow the experience (not to mention the ads, which come in full volume). Just dont lower too much, please. Otherwise, it's all perfect, congratz and thanks for your work. Happy holidays!
