Pam, I watch a lot of videos on junk journaling and crafting in general....it's like coming home when I come across one of yours!! Feels like I know you! Enjoy your channel the most!
@@peggymasella6324 It is a new day, and it shall be a beautiful beginning for you today, may the Lord make everything easy for you today, good morning Peggy. It’s nice to hear from. Nice to meet you how is the weather over there and people around you?
Pam you are a constant source of inspiration for me, I regularly find myself wondering where to begin and at first I was almost afraid to start using all the paper and stamps and ink pads I'd collected but now I just head over to The Paper Outpost and I'm cutting and gluing and inking to my hearts content. Thank you!!!
Love the old pages. I have boxes of Readers Digest magazines from the 40’s and haven’t quite had the courage to rip and shred them yet because they r so interesting to read. Such a different way of life back then. And btw these magazines were taken from the attic in my old house...they were used with sawdust for insulation!
I'd have a hard time too. I've begun scanning a bunch of my favs old magazine pages and have printed a few to use so I don't have to feel guilty ripping apart the originals. 😊
Thanks for all the fun ideas, Pam. While you work, I'm cutting chapter numbers out of an old book I removed covers from to use on a book I'm making. When those numbers are a good size, I use them for my book pages, I do a journal a month for myself and number the pages. Also cut out any blank pages, lots of good paper. I have some old magazines in the garage, I'll check them out next!!
Good afternoon Pam. Another hit. Such a cool thing to do with one book page. Goes to show what you can do with one page. And have a fantabulous rest of the weekend. ❤️❤️
Can’t tell you how excited I am every day to get my mail and see what free paper I got. Today it was two envelopes with windows and an advertisement with wonderful blank spaces. 😃
Good Morning Junk journal family. Pam I love you and your style of teaching. You make me smile every time I watch you. Blessings to you and all your lovely littles that we see and hear in the background.
I love old phone books They don't have to be that old because the have remained the same forever. Also, if you don't have a line stamp but you have some cardboard from a packing box just cut it down to the size you need and peel the top layer away. This will expose the lines and you can use it for a stamp, I have also cut down the trays that cookies come in. The lines on them work great also.
This is my favorite crafting past-time! Making lots of little things from, one thing! Greetings to chirping Holly, Snuggle Pants and Pam 💕 hello from Denmark 🌸🌱
What a great way to start my Saturday!! Great ideas and even though I make these things all the time, you make it all seem new! Just love spending time crafting with you!! Thanks for the inspiration‼️💕
I love that ur both informative & entertaining. Don't know how I survived without journaling. Thank u for being available to us. Sending love from the TX Gulf Coast❣🌞🌡🐋🐬🐟🐠🐚🦀🦐
Pam: good point to make and remind people that you don’t need a lot of extra stuff to make ephemera for your journals. Thank you, Carolina from California
I have a “safety suggestion” for you. I have a largish plastic vitamin bottle (with a screw-off lid) that I keep on my office/craft room desk to dispose of bent pins, bent tacks, spent craft blades (such as you have today), toothpicks, nails, etc. The bottle has a fairly large opening. Whenever I have something sharp that would poke through a plastic trash bag and/or would injure someone if exposed, I just grab my plastic “sharps” bottle and toss in there. Saves A LOT of time not having to individually wrap dangerous items. I removed the original label and wrote “SHARPS” on the plastic lid. At some point when the bottle is full, I can glue the lid shut and toss the full bottle into my trash can.
Yes! I swear I have crafty elves. They really like to take my darning needles and hide them in strange places. Not so much my paper craft stuff. Love your channel. I tried your podcast, but couldn't get it going. I'll try again.
Hello Pam! I have a lot of vintage pages with awesome advertising and I love this idea for them. That round bucket of peg stamps is so fabulous, I have a few and I need to find a spot on my desk for them to hang out. Thanks for the video and I hope your weekend is going good, take care! Hello cute button nose Sunny!
I tried your faux leather and loved it. I am newto junk Journaling and loving it. But I believe I could house a thousand hamsters for all the papers I have collected. Surprising fact is paper begets paper. Hope to tune into your podcasts.
For sharp metal discarded pieces, I use an old pill container or empty detergent container to dispose of that item safely. It must have a lid to the container that you use.
Great fun with one paper Pam. I tried a glue book recently it is very relaxing and fun, ripping pages I liked from a magazine and just collaging with reckless abandon! 😀
Good morning! That was ingenious!! I'm a mixed media collage artist, ad am very new to art Journaling and junk Journaling and enjoying learning the difference between the two! I enjoy watching you! You are actually addictive!!! I'm loving this new experience!! Thank you!!💝

Same store I found a small Hebrew American and a French dictionary and recently drum roll please, I found Japanese language training books from 1940s. Of course I had to buy all of the Japanese books which were 11 Just yesterday, I found a hole in the wall little thrift shop and bought a big stack of vintage books for only $10.00 lol my poor craft room where oh where do I put it all. I am slowly building foreign language ephemera stash lol. I swear this is addictive!!! Lol

Handy hint...I keep a small jar on my craft/sewing table to catch all my bent/broken needles and pins as well as dull blades off of my craft knife.
Empty tic tac boxes work well too for pins and blade ends.
And pill bottles!
