Casual Thai - word with ร

Do you know that many Thai people don't roll their tongues for "ร" sound?
For example:
รัก/rák = love
อะไร/à-rai = what
อร่อย/à-ròi = delicious

Thanks kru. Besides pronouncing "R" as "L", sometimes they will omit the "L" as well, such as for fish pronouncing instead of Bplaa as Bpa 😅

I live in northern Thailand. Up here people often pronounce "ร" as "ห" , so ร้อน sounds like หอน. It's very confusing.

They might have their own Northern Thai word kha. I teach Central Thai words in my lessons🥰
