INSPIRATION✨CREATIVITY✨VISION
I began my art journey early on in life, first with a sketchbook, then I tried portrait realism, and when I discovered abstract fluid painting, I became addicted. I love various art forms, but modern contemporary art is what I gravitate towards. Whether it's visualizing furniture placement or mixing paint for an acrylic pour, I'm in my happy place when I create. Color evokes emotion in so many ways, and I can only hope that my videos will inspire, lift you, or put a smile on your face. Thank you for coming on this journey with me!

WoW very interesting and beautiful…. I am a new canadian subscriber 🇨🇦😁
Thank you. 🙂
OMG, that first one is stunning❣️ A show stopper for sure. There’s so much movement, the eyes are kept busy for awhile, just taking it all in. 👍🏼 I think the 2nd one was the “seahorse” - it had the coolest reaction with those edges, and it turned into a beautiful composition as well. That last one - WoW! I never cared for monochromatic pours until seeing your results. I LOVE the gold in the center, with the really interesting black and white composition around it, big pearls, little pearls…. just gorgeous.
I love your videos, Shannon. You’re so inspiring to me, one of the few artists that really make want to go paint. You make it so much fun. Keep ‘em coming, sweetheart.
Thank you as always
🖌🙂
Love these colors. What type of gold metallic do you use and what is your pouring medium. Love the first one how it feathered out. Beautiful
I used Iridescent Gold in one pour, and DeciArrt 24kt in the others. I use Liquitex Gloss PM. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
@@ShannonGibsonArtDesigns Thank you so much. Was the iridescent gold by Golden? I am trying to find the best bright gold and have used different ones. I know Golden makes iridescent deep gold and iridescent bright gold. I thinking the bright gold would better suit me , but I am always open to suggestion. Your work is inspiring.
@@patriciaweibel6313 Sorry, by Pébéo.
Wow stunning I love the color combination. If there's no floetrol or silicone oil! so how did you create those marvellous cells which I'm battling to get, despite the fact that I measure the paint. 😔🙄
I don't measure my paints either. Keep in mind that all paint brands and colors react differently, so you have to explore. Also, how you layer those paints is also a factor. I hope this helps. Just play around and have fun. 😊
Your metallics are incredible! How do you mix them with pouring medium and what do you use?
Thank you. My usual mix is 1 0art Liquitex Gloss PM to 2 parts paint. However, I change my consistency frequently, so if you want the exact info for each pour, you'll need to check out the full video firceach pour. 🙂
They're all beautiful but the last one is my favourite. Thank you. 😊
Mine too, thank you.🖌🙂
Wow great picture, great colors 🌹😉🌹
I'm happy you enjoy it. 💕🙂
You are amazing! I learn so much from you. Thank you for sharing your gift.
Aww, that means so much to me, Donna! 💓 I'm thrilled you enjoy my work because I love to create and share it with all of you. Thank you. 🙂
What do you mix your metallic paint with?
They are all awesome ❤
Thank you very much! 🙂
Realy beutiful painting, dear friend, i loved it , you are great 🤗❤
Thank you! 🖌🙂
Hello. Please tell me if you mixed silicone oil in each acrylic color used in this work or only in one color?
I didn't use silicone in any of the pours. 🙂
What do you use to make it react to the paint?
Nothing. I get organic cells based on the density of the paint and how I layer them. 🙂
What the Whaaaat!!!!! Amazing results with metallics, I never expected that!! Do you also use metalic and chameleon and color shifting mica pigments? I find they add an extra element that acrylics can not produce. I am also a fellow Canadian artist and I am starting a business marketing some amazing color choices. If you would be interested in some samples to try. If your interested please PM me. Awesome creations, thanks for sharing your techniques and inspiration.
I don't use pigments, just metallic paint. The cells I get are based on my methods and brand of paints. I'm glad you enjoy my work. 🖌🙂
Hi Sharon, your work is always lovely but sharing a painting without basic info about type of paint used, not brands or colours, but type, is like doing a cooking demonstration without ingredients. Many of us, I feel sure, would like to know what paint and pouring medium you used in these pieces, particularly the first one, which was a real standout.
Hi, I do include that information in all of my videos except compilations, as the intention is for the visual experience rather than a tutorial. You can also find the details of the video in the description. Thank you for watching. 🙂
@@ShannonGibsonArtDesigns Thank you for always providing so much detail in your descriptions. I've been watching you since day uno and I am grateful for the fact that you have continually gone the extra mile by providing us with videos dedicated periodically specifically to any new paints, mediums, mixes, etc., that you are playing with which has REALLY been a gargantuan help to my pouring adventures. Much gratitude to you for your generosity and for sharing your superb talent with the world!
@@shawna4801 It's people you like you that make it so enjoyable, and I'm grateful that I get to share it. Thank you. 🙂
