Welcome back to the woodland and in this video im heading out for a woodland wild camp with a new bit of the gear , the Geertop One Man BivyTent .
Geertop have kindly sent me out this Bivy tent to show on the channel and i must say so far im very happy with the product .
So join myself and Allan on our woodland wild camp for a few beers and some very simple woodland cooking .

From $88 to $114 USD for a well made bivy of that size seems reasonable. Placing it under a tarp with no rain cover should give good air flow.

I've had this bivi for about 5 years or so now (well an earlier model with some differences but pretty much the same thing). It's always done me good. They have a surprising amount of room in them too. Nice review vid!

It was all too quick, I was just getting into it with the fire and drink awww no banter fireside stories between you two. I know its cheeky but can you make them L o n g e r, I have heard the editing and all that stuff is daunting. At last a pair of English blokes out and about, Loved it, thanks. Love and Light 😊

I think they are $89 us dollars. I have a Geetop Pyramid II it is a bit small but all seams are taped and never had any problems. They seem a good brand

I got a similar one and is great but yeah you cant sit up in it properly head does touch the roof and im 6ft but length is perfect lol

What is the quality of the zip like? My mate had a Geertop tent and besides a few other issues the zip really let the tent down, in fact the zip failed completely and that was the end of that tent, it was not worth even repairing.
To be honest I didn't see any problems with the zip on this tent 👍 it got opened and closed a good few times on this trip to get things out and put things away and had no issue , no sticking or anything just zipped up and unzipped smoothly 👍
Getting into that in a downpour might be a disaster. As with all bivys I suppose.

@@mdmoutdooradventures Good to hear. I based this comment off another reviewer whose tent/bivy leaked. I only mentioned it because your review leaves the question a little open. I suppose the lesson is to seek out several reviews.
