To make this a dress you would just use a dress pattern instead of shirt and follow the same method?

Where do you buy your fabric. I have a Joan's near by but they don't have much stretch fabric.

Just make the back panel as long as u want in the center back then you can either keep the side seams the same and draft the back patterns side seams to match the front or make them longer as well. Hope this helps!
