Iveta Apkalna ist vor ein paar Jahren hier in Kevelaer konzertant aufgetreten, u.a. mit ihrer Auslegung von "Mad rush" von Philip Glass - ohne Worte....umwerfend, betörend, hypnotisierend - unvergesslich.

Because this is a fantastic performance. Iveta Apkalna can play the music from Kalejs as no other. Of course also the superb sound of this organ and the form of the composition are also part of it. I have already heard several performances of this piece, but they lacked the energy and radiance completely. This is really the best performance ever ...

Was ich so toll finde wie sich das Stück aufbaut erst später himmlische Stimmen dann immer feierlicher die Zungen dazu.... hätte mir am Schluss für das Finale ein Mutti vor allem mit den tubas und chamadrn gewünscht
