@@cannade4079 I saw him at a jam session in Havana about 2016. He took the piano seat when Tony Rodriguez, the brilliant pianist from Havana D'Primera, got up. At first Ahmed seemed like a kid fitting in, but in about three minutes he was killing it!!! People like me were asking "who the fuck is that kid?"
One other famous Cuban pianist who was there told me: "when I hear him improvise, the hair on my arms stands up and dances!!""
