- Complete approach to Arlington with ice and 900ft ceilings. Includes ATC audio. Landed with a tailwind due to the fact that Arlington only has a single instrument approach to runway 34.

Great approach! Landed it like you were born with wings on your backs. Excellent! Loved the audio with the ATC. I could understand, “every” single word (loud & clear). Twang and all. 😄. Need more controllers like her. Not to harp on others, but most people sound like they’re half asleep 😴 over the mic 🎤. Lol

Great video. Only small aircraft I've flown in were a Tri-pacer and a Mooney aero commander I believe it was. All of this was done at Arlington and Spinks. Use to watch Charlie Hilliard Jr when I was growing up. Spinks had the big hump in the middle of the runway.

I wish I had that iPad mount back when I was flying the 400.
I too fly with Foreflight with a stratus. I have the old standard 6 pack in my Bonanza with a basic GNS430W King HSI Coupled. That with my Foreflight I get a ton of Situational Awareness and find it easy to navigate around and get the quick info I need. A couple of times my HSI or Attitude indicator have decided to act up and I relied on my Ipad. As for the approach, nice approach. I watched this video because Arlington is where I learned out to fly way back when all they had was a Unicom and Arlington Jet Center.
