I like that these attractations aren't just ethereal and abstract--simply because it's in Japan. They're actually based on Disney film and culture.

Then I bought an annual pass for myself when I was a collage student in Tokyo.
I went to the park after class like everyday. lol

22:30 "Waiting in line is half the fun." If this is a real Disney management philosophy then I guess I've misunderstood how much "fun" was having in all the other ( apparently intentionally ) backed up lines. I hope when the Disney execs who determined that perish, their personal hell will be standing in a long line that never moves. You know, a "fun" line.

    • @AJ17_

allenmovies: Tower of Terror opened at Tokyo DisneySea on September 22, 2006. Also their version isn't linked to Twilight Zone as Japanese audiences aren't familiar with the show, plus OLC (Oriental Land Co, the company that owns & operates the Tokyo parks - they pay Disney licensing fees to use the Disney name & characters) didn't want to pay CBS royalties.

if a day at a theme park is an occasion to dress up for to the Japanese, then, that would explain why they don't like to get wet when it comes to the rides! they most likely don't wanna ruin the outfits they wore to the park! but, that *hardly* explains why they prefer to be prepared for what's about to happen on stage!

The gondola ride is not the only ride in any Disney park that does not run on machines or computers...Originally Disneyland had mule rides in Frontierland, and Disneyland still has Davy Crockett canoes...Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes are free-floating canoes. What this means is that they are trackless. Where you paddle, (with the help of guides), is where you go! Unlike all the other attractions at the Disneyland Resort where the ride vehicles all go along some form of track.
