I live in Phoenix, AZ and in dry heat. It’s 110 to 115 degrees all summer. I just left for work for 2 months and turned off my AC. I live in a new condo. I hope I did the right thing 🤦🏻‍♂️

I live in Buckeye. My neighbor who used to live in Palm Springs says that he has turned his A/C off all summer while he was gone. He said he hasn't had any problems in over 20 years of doing this. His isn't running right now and it is 100. I guess I will have a better answer when he gets back in the fall.

In New Jersey in my own house 🏠 when ever I get my own place and once Summer or Spring comes and it’s getting very hot about 78-84 outside then I’ll turn my Central air conditioning on at 73 degrees and stay cool and comfortable and I’ll probably install a solar panel too reduce the energy and I’ll won’t be too cheap when it comes to electricity in summer AC and my temperature will stay at 73 and then per month I will change my air filter in my furnace and also water hose and clean my outside unit and clean any debris and everything.

If you're gone for 2 or 3 months it makes a big difference...
