Short Summary
Hi, my name is Dmitry Wild and quite honestly, I didn't even know my road trip story called, “Why Be Normal?” was going to make it to this stage. It was just bunch of stories I was telling my co-workers, family members and anyone that listened, then I decided to collect those stories into a book. Now we have assembled a team to delivery this thought - provoking rollercoaster wild ride through the American Landscape series into a reality, well at least to take its first humble step towards full scale production. Take Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and On the Road, only with 2 Immigrants traveling from NY - LA.

Why
It's an important piece of work because it’s about each one of us, growing up, facing challenges, adulting, dealing with life, figuring out our way and what better way to do that than to get on the road and drive 3 thousand miles across America with a lunatic while chasing a dream a boy had in his bedroom, listening to music late at night, smoking cigarettes and thinking one day he will make it.
What
Currently we have the book, the script on our hands for a 1 min teaser, the team, 2 directors and the rest of the team is being assembled and we wanted to reach out to people, friends, relatives and other joyful members of this planet to ask for a little help to push this project forward, to the very first step of the ladder. You see, I personally don't like asking people for money and prefer to fund everything myself, may be with the last cent, but at this time I can see movies need funding and actors and crew and cameras and other expenses that really make it hard to do it all ourselves.

Your contribution will allow this book to be turned in a movie series called “Why Be Normal?” to be born or more like the first few scenes to be born so that we can take the next steps and hopefully take it to the streaming platforms so we can deliver it to you to laugh, to cry, to think, to be a passenger on this rollercoaster, with so called friends, that still have to drive. To witness life through their eyes.
Once we will be able to film those first few scenes it will help us and decision makers give us the green light to take it to the next step, see that’s where you come in.
