- Welcome to my channel focused on my classic car collection of 80’s and 90’s German cars! There will be many videos on them, road trips and crazy car buying experiences like this one!
Here before your very eyes is a Koenig Specials KS8 850 V12. This car was found hidden in an underground bunker in Germany! Not seen daylight for 8 years, we have managed to buy the car and bring it to the UK. This car is not to be mistaken as any normal E31 8 series, it was originally owned by notorious Polish Gangster Nikodem ‘Nikoś’ Skotarczak, a full fledged criminal mastermind at the head of one of the biggest car theft operations in the 90’s. Mention his name in Europe and I’m sure someone somewhere will tell you a story! There is even a Documentary on Netflix about his life ‘How I fell in love with a gangster”.

It's not Nikodem's BMW, it's just a marketing ploy to increase its value, besides, if it was Nikodem's car, it certainly wasn't bought, it was stolen, so it wouldn't have been sold, it would have been taken by the police, and his BMW had a lot differences between this car
If it was stolen in 90’ it was easly registered in poland. And if it was registered that means there is no legal problems with the car now

Hi! I'm from Poland. In the articles here, it is written that it is not Nikodem's gangster's BMW, although he also had one, but it is a different copy that was also in Poland, because this BMW had different registration plates than Nikodem had. (It was registered in another part of the country)

It's not hard to re register car in Poland, literally every time it changes owner it will end up with different number plates

It's a beautiful car, congratulations :) By the way, the movie on netflix is not a documentary, but an action movie, lots of things in that movie on netflix is incorrect especially the 90's aren't shown as they were. Lots of things in this movie from netflix weren't even mentioned. Nevertheless if you want to know something about Nikodem Skotarczak aka Nikoś there is a book by his last wife "Nikoś Ruletka życia" which also has lots of photos (including cars) and letters Nikoś wrote himself. There was also a documentary about Nikoś in 1996 on Polish national TV which is still available on its site as well as youtube and been overally seen by over a million people, just on youtube I mean . I have seen at least 3 uploads by various people of it, it's called "Kraina Złudzeń". In the 90's Nikoś was a well known mafioso especially in Poland and Germany, but also a businessman (Hestia insurance company with his right hand known as Kura, real estate and more). Another thing that movie on netflix shows is lots of cocaine and he never personally abused drugs the way it was showed. I mean the movie on netflix is only partially true. His last wife now widow, with whom he was from 1991 to 1998, wasn't even showed in "how i fell in love with a gangster" movie. She even issued a statement just one day after the movie was released which was all over the media in Poland that it's not how it was, half of the movie is not accurate and she wasn't even consulted by Kawulski the guy who made this movie. Anyway, it's a lovely car, cheers :)

At the time you had a E30 325i Dolphin Grey Coupe & you said you was a car collector back then. All the best with the KS8 journey.

Not orginal Koenig KS8 .- in 2011 Koenig after my request replied to me “looks like KS8 but Vin not in ours database”
Never belongs to Nikos- this one was registered in Klodzko city where at the same time “NIKOS” bmw regiatered in Warsaw City.
Already explained on few forums & to new owner.
Still hopefully he restore 8 series -but don’t need spreading lies.

Nikodem's Ks8 was 1996my, not 1991.
hey, this is not a bmw nikosia because nikosia was registered on Warsaw registrations and this one is on DKL registrations, i.e. Kłodzko
It has white plates so post 2000, and nikos was killed in 1998, so car could be sold after his death and registered in mentioned Klodzko

Thanks for your comment! Where the cars are parked is the foundation for the garage build! It used to be just mud there. Phase 1 is complete. This year the garage is planned to be built and the cars will all be under one roof 🙌🏽 good things take time 👌🏽
