this is actually the most heartbreaking part of play. imagine being treated wrong, the man you call "kuya" failed to fulfill his promise, the man you consider as your "bestfriend" forgets your friendship and the man you treat like a "prince" turns his back on you....joy definitely deserves much better

I came here again after watching it on stream and I therefore conclude that this is definitely the most heartbreaking scene in this musical. This is where all our tears broke and where our hearts shattered. I mean, after that tragic incident and the way the three dudes treated Joy??? Imagine being traumatized about a tragedy then get abandoned by the people you think will be there for you. 💔 This song about finding courage and bravery is really messed up. 😭🥺

Everyone should watch Joy's (lead girl character) live performance. Galing nya doon. Kung magaling sya dito, mas power sya sa live may it be soft or ballad. I'm humbled to hear it first hand. Very nice musical. 🙋🙋🙋

The Promises of Emman that's been broken, the friendship of Anthony that goes totally broken, and the relationship of Joy and Hector that's been broken too because of the images of themselves that they're protecting.

To those asking kung bakit iba ang Hector, Joy and Anthony dito from the online stream. They are the original cast in the 2018 run (Reb Atadero, Tanya Manalang, Topper Fabregas and Boo Gabunada). Then on the 2nd run, they split the original cast into two groups and added new ones (Gab Pangilinan, Phi Palmos, Nicco Manalo and Lance Reblando). So there were actually two groups doing the 2019 shows.

Nice arrangement. although I have to agree that the harmonies still needs a little tightening, there are some parts that are too loud and some that are too soft. But then again this is just rehearsals, and I'm rooting for this company to do great.

This song helps my emotions calm down, i recently learned that my bf of 5years has been cheating on me. This song is my favorite, he used to sing it to me when i feel worried especially those times na magtatake na ako ng board exam. I am a college band member, and thanks God, I am not only exposed to playing rock, jazz, opm, new wave hits, etc, but also was behind some of the stage musical plays like Joseph the Dreamer, Jesus Christ Superstar, The King and I, The Sound of Music to mention some. I have also seen Broadway plays "Wicked" in Chicago, Les Mis, Phantom, and Cats in The Solaire Manila. Have seen also Once Upon on This Island,UP's "Dobol" and a lot more. But after watching this play "Ang Huling El Bimbo" it simply gave me a national pride, and a hope that our appreciation to what is "art" will change to a new level. Nakakamangha kung paano nila ito inayos para maging isang stage play. Mahusay ang areglo ng kanta, pati na din ang mga karakters. I wonder bakit di ito nakarating sa ibang rehiyon/ cities. Sana naman ay magkaroon ng touring company featuring great opus like this para magkaroon ng kakaibang kamalayaan ang mga Filipino sa ganda ng ating sining. Saludo!!!!
