She is just simple so amazing. I do not understand how so much talent can be compressed into such a little body. She is such a gift to the world.
Dame Judi is such a treasure. Her smile at the end is adorable.
Dench delivers a welcome addition to CZcams: poetry!
I read this first when I was 20, and now I'm 78. So I wrote a little coda to this lovely poem.
But now my seventy springs are gone,
And yet with joy I still live on.
Each day a gift of love and song,
In gratitude for each lovely dawn.
And after winter's chill and gloom,
Rejoicing still in trees in bloom.

Beautiful addition Ms Claire. I read this poem first when I was fourteen. It was a love at first read. I memorized it at that time and never forgot it over the years.
Well done Claire! That is a beautiful addition 🌹
@@JohnDunnett-ht5cw Thank you for your kind comment. It makes me think of Stevenson, "I breathed a song into the air," ....and it has found the heart of a friend.
In junior high in the 70s, I recited this poem, by A.E. Houseman, from 'A Shropshire Lad', if I remember correctly. I've loved this poem all my life. Now, being threescore years and 6... I feel it's full and bittersweet meaning. Thank you Dame, for giving it the light it deserves.
Her smile at the end is sunshine.
Just wonderful, really wonderful - Thanks Dame Judy

Wonderful performance! I always love her performance since I find her nearly 30 years ago when I first move to Australia!
A personal hero, Dame Judi is, an inspiration and treasure.
I have the utmost respect for Dame Judi. ❤
Wonderful.
Thank you for the years, Judi xoxo
Oh, Ms. Dench, that is so lovely! I have never heard it before! My favorite is Wordworth's "Daffodils". I had someone in England write it for me in calligraphy, framed it, and always put it up in the living room in the spring. For that's when ..."my heart within me thrills and dances with the daffodils!" Here in North Carolina, they bloom in late February and early March. .🙏
Dear Hearts, Dame Judi Dench is a treasure. All Love
She is mesmerizing in so many ways I can only sit here and listen to 🥰🥰🥰

I love her ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
We have a common love…trees. And what about Joyce Kilmer’s poem…”I think that I shall never see a poem as lovely as a tree. Poems are made by fools like me. But only God can make a tree.”
The simplesity. What human effort can express better? From Dame Judi, who better to give it vioce?
Thank you for reminding me of this poem. I learned it as a song at Girl Scout camp in the mid-50's.

From a great poet, who lived alone...
....with a broken heart from unrequited love.
