The power of this version to pierce into our soul is just unbelievable. SuMetal is flexing once again she doesn't need filters or audio effects to deliver the meaning of a song.
The three figures dressed in white are probably the extra backing chorus, some fans think they might be former SG members or even the same new trio (or new BM mirror unit as I like to call myself) they introduced latest concerts when performing DDM.
BM fans already know one-off versions like this thanks to Akatsuki Unfinished Version and The One - Stairway To Living Legend, or even the first softer part version of The One live, but this one got the plus and bonus to get attraction for new viewers and reactors, so good to see that.

If you think of the three girls in white as the three girls who represented BABYMETAL at the time, .....Seeing how these girls have been holding their little hands and working hard all these years. ....... It makes me cry 😭.

Nice reaction to this awesome version of Monochrome. Babymetals music has always been diverse to say the least. They have in the past changed up a couple of their songs. Akatsuki comes to mind and Headbanger. These changes are always a real treat when they do them. After watching this an unplugged concert should be in the works for them. Su and Moa crushed this. They hinted at a new metal coming at their next concert. Which happens to be April 1st. Fox Day in Japan. Which happens to be a lot like April Fool's Day in the USA. But Babymetal have a big connection to the Fox god. In the past they have made announcements on this day. Such as tour dates, new albums, big concert announcement and this time they did hint at a new member joining them. The speculation that it's Yui returning is just that and hopes and prayers by Yui fans. The other option is Momoko will be the new member. Which she has put the work in to become that. and she really seems to enjoy performing with Su and Moa. And she from Sakura Gakuin the jpop group Su Moa and Yui all came from when they started. Although I think Momoko joined after Su had already left. The other option is it will be completely somebody different. Who we haven't seen with them yet. Babymetal has had their friends perform with them before. So, it wouldn't be too surprising if it's another friend of theirs. If you're a friend of theirs you might want to practice their dance routine. You never know when you might get a phone call. Kano and Riho the other two avenger dancers who filled in Yui's spot. Were also friends of theirs. Riho was in Actors School of Hiroshima with Su and Kano was in Sakura Gakuin with Yui and Moa. I think in Yui and Moa's last year there. Good to have friends who tour the world. Early on in Babymetals career they performed in white robes. The clip of the three backup singers harkens back to that. The holding of hands brings us back to their last tour. After performing "Shine" at the Legend M concert for Moa's birthday. Moa said that when they did it as a duo it felt like they were connected holding hands the whole time. Kawaii. Then they show the three in trinity positions the way they will be again next month. Brilliant marketing. And this was a brilliant performance. Now I have to try to get over the Emotional Damge
Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。These female artists, now grown up from their girlhood, depict various images by singing and project them into the listeners' brain. The waves by those images come and go and make me move emotionally. Thank you BABYMETAL. And thank you Koba for your serendipity. Some 13 years ago, you certainly discovered something amazing and sacred for us.
Speaking of the three figures in white hood adding some background vocals, I assume they are the same girls who performed Doki Doki Morning as clone BABYMETAL in Makuhari. The combination of their heights reminded me of them dancing face-to-face with Su, Moa and Momoko.
The people saying Yui is coming back are LYING or delusional. XD If we get Yui back, I'll eat my phone. Moa fans unite, tho. ✊ Makes my heart grow three sizes every time a reactor is like, 'Moa!' 🤘🦊🤘

I hope sooo bad they come to Texas soon! I became a fan 3 months ago and I've done such a deep dive and have fallen in love hard. They are so emotional and powerful and to see them in this medium is just incredible! Now Su's growth in her vocal ability is undeniable to the world. No one can say she hides behind drums or guitars or backup singer's or auto tune or backing tracks.
Also, I LOVE getting to hear Moa's exact parts like this! They are utilizing the softness and silkyiness of her voice to provide a gorgeous contrasting voice and moving away from her providing more higher pitched childlike callouts (I love that stuff too don't get me wrong wrong it's so awesome seeing them change) still want more Moa, but this is awesome.

For me, I was teared up by the end of the first chorus..but I outright sobbed when the three mystery figures held hands
