Can I ask , and I can understand if it’s not possible. And of course this is a selfish ask. But I recently bought a pair of kef C60 speakers. In good nick. I understand the C series were a short lived, maybe you call budget, speakers. But I think ( haven’t pulled drivers to look) the C60 and up had a more involved crossover than the 40. And with that might be approaching the other kef speakers of same time. Listening to them I find them sort of 2 faced. Kinda harsh at times, then they sing with other sources and music. They sure wake up with more volume though. I’m just rambling now, sorry :-)
What’s the ask? Have you had any experience with them and any thoughts?
      Cheers
      Alistair

@@ragnarhairybreeks Have not had any experience with the KefC60's, so I am not going to be able to give an opinion on them. I don't mind being asked questions, though my answers may be in short supply. It is nice to be able to change out your speakers to to break the pace. I will be reviewing a device that lets you do that in about a month...

I have an 8B myself. Looking at this one it looks completely original.

Thanks for taking the time to let me know that. I am pretty sure the tubes are not- it performed very well for being old, but that is why folks like vintage Marantz.
