Literally every grandpa ever.
As a Chinese, I come here to check what will be the translation of those move, and as expected, it is really hard to keep all the meaning in English. Those move by the old folk are actual move set/End game positioning from Chinese Chess:
1. Three Pawn Power/ 三仙煉丹: An end game position where the attacker side have only 3 Pawns while all defensive pieces are still up
2. Cannon Barrage/炮碾丹砂: Using Rook and Cannon to perform a continue attack to take away pieces, aka Windmill attack in Chess
3. Ragging Horses/雙馬飲泉: An end game technique by using 2 horses(knight) to perform a checkmate
4. Hobble the horse/絆馬腳(but the Chinese VA said it in 絆腳馬 aka horse being hobble): A way to stop horse to move as different from Knight, if any pieces stand in front of horse, it can not move passing it
5. Two Pawns come knocking/雙鬼拍門(Imps knocking on the door): An end game technique by using 2 pawns, aka the lowest point unit on the board("imps") to hold the position of the king and perform checkmate
6. Pawns siege the palace/ 三進兵: An End Game position where moving and attacking with pawns continuously
7. Moonlight Chase/月下追信: Name base on a historical story in Han Dynasty, 蕭何月下追韓信, on Chess board, it is an End game puzzle that you need to sacrifice most of your pieces to checkmate
8. Horse and cannon/馬後炮: A common checkmate move by placing Cannon behind the horse so that the king cannot move. But in daily conversation, 馬後炮 usually refer to "You don't say" situation edit: remind by comment below, it is also represent hindsight bias

It's a bit harder to translate to English, but the moves used by the granpa/grannies to beat up the gangs are actual move names for Chinese chess. For example, "Raging Horses" is a move where you utilize both of your horses (aka Knights in Chess) to combo and checkmate the enemy. Really fitting here lol

I think these demos really do encapsulate why alot of us love zenless, in that its just so much more well, fun It really does feel like every game theyve made so far was for this game, like the amount of passion is just amazing

I love these trailers because they SCREAM personality! One can get a perfect view of the chars just by showing us this little preview, it's awesome!
Something kinda dark about ZZZ is how androids like Qingyi and Billy can't age. Qingyi likely has been friends with the old people since they were kids, which is both heartwarming and a scary thought. I wonder how artificial life forms in ZZZ feel about seeing people come and go, but maybe I'm looking too deep into it.

Well, artifical life forms usually don't have those emotions unless they are built in. Since she seems built for fighting, emotions for loss of human life would be simply a waste of data for them to process.

I know its common in anime to see old people being total badass on beating th baddies, but I believe this is the first time in Hoyoverse to have old people that actually looks like ordinary senior citizen beating gangsters in the canon, and I think that's a really cool moment. Even more cool that she IS part of the old people (she is very old you can say she's like madame ping) so they all get along like homies 😂🤣

According to a random event with zhu yuan, Qingyi is actually an old world machine but she doesn’t possess full records of that time. It’s kinda funny this information comes from a scene about donuts

Stun characters are like Hydro characters in Genshin. It's an "element" that helps everyone and works with anyone. Not to mention how at least 2-3 future banners will be full of ATK.
@@thebluescaptain doesn't really help anomally characters though. Yeah daze multiplier works but they take precious time from building actual anomally so it's kinda redundant and not worth it.
@@nerio1227 Well, anomaly wouldn't be able to do anything against blinking/teleporting enemies. Check ZZZ groups, people are complaining about the twin ballerinas and that white monster that keep warping away to attack. Stun is the answer for those agile enemies.
In Genshin fleeing bosses aren't as agile, that's why they don't need long time stuns as the elemental reactions would do the job by themselves.

I like Qungyi as a character for sure, she very well captures the 'old geezer from anther time' vibe, and since she is a robot right now I'm speculating she is actually a much older sentient robotic lifeform who has had to put herself into a new body for one reason or the other, she seems to specifically dislike or find dismay with people looking at her as a kid so it doesn't feel like it's something she has always delt with. Will be really cool to get to know her more with the upcoming chapter 3 epilog and side stories.
Actually had another thought, what if said old people she is playing chess with, due to how clear their combat abilities still are, are old retired Pubsec officers that she used to work with back in her original body if she is a transplanted robot, that would be actually adorable and make the old peoples comedic fighting abilities even more reasonable as more than just a joke.

Ingame she even does the Frieren smile. She is essentially Frieren but instead of being an elf mage she's a police android who knows kung fu
Qingyi's secret faction is the 'Elder Endgamers'. It would be cool if these elders were put in the trust system so we can interact with them or better yet make them full agents.
First we have a fully functional family troupe and now we have a fully whole community of elder. Why do I feel this wholesome feeling is goin to last until we reach the outer ring where all hell is actually loose. In New Eridu is the safe heaven but outer ring that's a diff story.
Zenless is becoming an anime! They have the trope of strong elders, so rare to see a group of them.
