Can I ask how you were able to move? I want too so bad but I heard Japan is only accepting student and work visas 😭 is that how you did it? Through work?

Hello! Yup that’s right. We came here through work visa. Japan is mainly allowing only students and work visa now and they are currently having a COVID spike (~200k cases per day) but when things stabilize hopefully they will start to allow tourists or short stays. Good luck 😉

Hello! I found it through this Japanese home search app (suumo) and we also got the help of an agent to arrange the viewings, contract,etc. NOT an easy process (as with all things in Japan 😁) but there are also some agent companies who specifically cater to foreigners and it might be easier to go through that route. We just went thru the usual way 😌
