One of my favorite play...finest example of Revenge Tragedy. Ferdinand - Duke of Calabria. Cardinal (Hypocrite, as he himself us having an affair with Julia, wife of Old Castruchio). Duchess married Antonio and beget 3 children Bosola- a Machiavellian villain. Ferdinand house arrested Duchess and Plotted an evil some plot, he employed madman too in front of Duchess's house and then she was killed. Cardinal didn't like Bosola and both Ferdinand and Cardinal plotted against Bosola. Ferdinand had a disease called Lycanthropia and he thought himself as wolf. Bosola killed Antonio. After that he attacked Cardinal and when they were fighting Ferdinand attacked Bosola, Bosola too pay the due and everyone died 😢. After that the elder son of Duchess became the heir. This play is also an example of honour killing and a slight reference of incest if we study it from Ferdinand's behavior. Thank you so much Maam for the beautiful explanation 👌👌👌💐💐💐
