I like a starter area that lets you get a feel for the mechanics, has some threat so you can figure out combat, but lets you work at your own pace. Looks like you can build up a nice pile of materials before you move inland.

I just wanna say, after binging the Vanguard series as well as some other vods, your editing is on point. So well done and enjoyable to watch!
Having ancient Greece as the setting makes things so much more interesting.
Definitely will Wishlist this (can't just keep buying games and not play them :P )
Playing single player, you can change your 'ruleset' before starting (each session) and increase your stamina (or health) and regen rates. I find this much more enjoyable with higher stamina so you can sprint or glide much longer. Also you can set it so you don't drop all your gear on death.
So many reviews popping up in hours of release lol, devs got the marketing ramped up 👏🏼 I’ll be checking it out later tonight
Would love for the game to take off and maybe evolve with some PvP and big servers I think it would have potential

Well, that shout move the boss guy did is bullshit. It's funny that you mentioned 'that's why I don't play dark souls' after getting killed by it since the souls series tries very hard to avert moves like that. A better designed combat encounter would give the shout a visible shockwave and a clearer way to dodge it even if you're up close as opposed to "hope you're far enough away when the enemy does it or get hit." Getting hit by nothing feels bad and looks really cheap.
I would like to see randomly generated maps, but it looks interesting.

This game looks like it could be good, in a year or so maybe. Just looks too early/empty right now in such a crowded genre. I like how the game describes its building system as “build impressive Greek structures” and it’s mostly just wood boxes lol. Feels a bit dated too without early automation or companions.
To be fair, we're only seeing very early gameplay and not later unlocks. I'm pretty sure they must have stone structures etc in the game already because it's in the trailers and stuff. It looks like a Valheilm clone with more systems, more color and a lighter tone. Only still very, very early
I've seen people build more impressive structures, so it's definitely possible. It's just that most people don't have the architect gland ;)
Expect 2 years of early access (according to devs)
Once you get stone building (starting island is thatch, then comes wood) you can build really impressive structures.

We need a survival game that lets you fly like that (14:10) but you build Iron Man like suits with varying abilities, skills, etc.

Combat does look bit basic, but compared to 7DTD which is in full release it is complex. It has a block mechanic, dodge, roll. I do like 7DTD hit or be hit with telescopic arms on bullet sponges though, just got used to it.

Very nice graphics. Clean. Smooth - and great stream as always.
Am definitely getting a feel of game devs all grabbing a single 'Open-World-Template' kit and adding a storyline, but retaining most mechanics, movements, etc.
Wonder how open-ended the game turns out to be? Never a fan of the play, finish, rinse, repeat, get bored thing.

the problem with games like this it has very little replayability outside of when it gets new content, once you go trough the game once, every single playthrough is the exact same. the saving grace for this games is its under 20$ (on sale).

The game has a fixed world... so all the chests, merchants, quests and major characters will always be in the exact same spot.
My money goes into games with endless replay value... not games which are fun once and forgotten.

Has anyone other than GNS and G9 actually been able to play this? So far, I'm at 1 hour of "play time", after 6 hours of messing with settings trying to get above 9 fps, but haven't actually been able to play. It just crashes during the initial load screen every time.

Dude if they make a game with dark souls combat and survival/building I'll be happy. My main issue with the genre is how bad combat normally is. It's the main reason I got bored of Valhiem.
I don't mean the difficulty of souls either, but I mean tight hitboxs, Dodge,hit stop,parrying and armor system that work logically with heavy vs light.
looks cool, nto as much a fan of set maps, to easy to learn where everything is for replays 8( ... and did you add MORE commercials to your stream, wow like ever 2 secs another you tube ad.
you did first island in 2 hours, how long would it take a total newbie? and how many hours gameplay in total?
I think right now it’s about 40 ish hours to beat the entire game

This looks like a mobile game, stiff animations, crap graphics and combat looks very awkward. If this game is not free to play, then I have no idea how you can feel no shame in advertising this crap. I guess anything is good for the money.
I give this game 1 mobile port out of 10 buggy Bethesda's.
This costs 15 dollars?!?!?????!??!??!???!!???!?!!!!!!???!???!??????!???!?!?!?!!!!!?????!??!???!! Holy mother of God, I have seen everything, I can die peacefully.
I've god mixed feelings on this game so far. It does hold some interesting elements to it but based upon this video I am not impressed.
2 issues I noted
- Combat / enemy difficulty seems broken, That was the starting area and you got stuff killing you in 2 shots with upgraded gear. Yeah no thanks for an area where your suppose to be learning the basics. The boss to open the portal should be 3 shots and that one attack is a bit broken (Shout or whatever)
The cave enemies in no way should be that strong, They have 4 things that make them hard, (Fast, Small, Hard hitting and numbers) they need to get rid of one of the 4 things for that area. I personally would not make them as strong as with the numbers they can get multiple hits in easily.
-Gathering grind, it should not be that hard to gather feathers and bones when it's used frequently or in large quantities.
I also am failing to see the benefit of the powers just yet. While they seem fun I don't see a solid use to them.

My 2 cents: wait for more polish and content.
There is a lot of unique and good survival/crafting/building/boss fighting games already out there... sadly this one just doesn't look like one. The simplicity of Enshrouded, Titanquest storry and setup, world and gameplay so similar to Conan exiles... if it doesn't have an absolute masterpiece of a story its probably just another shiny looking cashgrab.
Kinda seems extra grindy. Fighting mechanics don't seem great. Will keep an eye out for it and wait to see how it progresses. As of now, only slightly interested.

Honestly, I felt the game was pretty boring and lifeless. Other than being set in a Greek setting with pretty graphics, I just felt the world was empty and lifeless. Right now it just feels like a base building game and the typical gather material to make a bench to gather more material to make a bench to gather more material to make a bench….yawn. It’s been done to death. I refunded for now.
Not a fan of the no fall damage, it should just increase the height you can fall.

You didn't give much focus to the setting itself. I can appreciate good survival mechanics, but they're unlikely to come close to the breadth and minutiae designed into Dwarf Fortress, so if the setting doesn't grab me, or I can't be interested. I see no evidence of a lore-rich setting or even environmental storytelling in the set pieces, so where's the appeal?
