This glitchy, cyber-inspired sound would later be a thing towards the end of the 90s, most notably on TLC's FanMail. Madonna was ahead of the pack once again.
It would be cool if Madonna would release a compilation of unreleased tracks. She has dozens, if not hundreds, of such tracks and surely she could select 12-15 that she feels are strong enough to see the light of day. Often a perfectly good song is left off an album because it doesn't contribute to the overall feel or intention of the project. It doesn't mean the song isn't worthy in its own right.
I see why she left it off, she was trying to move away from the Eroticism with Bedtime Stories. "Come inside, it's alright" probably wasn't quite right lyrically for this switch 😅
it's a very good jam, kind of a softer take on Erotica's lyrical approach and themes. The whole "let down your guard/ ... come inside" seems like a potent metaphor considering "Bedtime Stories" was released at the height of the AIDS epidemic and safer sex was very much on everyone's mind!
Very good song; great production and interesting effects in the background, sounds like a telephone call. This would have fit well in between Human Nature and Forbidden Love; it's both sassy like the former track and seductive like the latter. Glad it was still released as a b-side anyway.

Madonna should consider a 'rarities' album with all the wonderful hidden songs over there.
This absolutely should have been on the record.
Better than Don't Stop, could even be a single.

This is a pure new jack swing track! I wouldn't mind if it been included in the album. It sounds halfway between Erotica and Bedtime Stories
She should release this today. She was ahead of her time.
I love t-boz background vocals on this 😍
Japanese(language) users can appreciate what the telephone-voice is saying. The voice is saying some of the lyrics in Japanese.
One of her best B-Sides ever! Very TLC/Prince :)
Very original and nice!
My fave Madge b-side - had it on single CD back in the day. Played it to death.
I just NOW discovered this. After all of these years I never knew about this song until I Wikipedia'd the "SECRET" single.
This is one of her best dance tracks ever.

The beat reminds me of "U In Me" by TLC, also produced by Dallas Austin.
