There is actually a difference between certain spreaders such as the sprayer and the front tank. The rear sprayer uses liquid fertilzer that "INCREASES HARVEST OUTPUT" and the fron tank uses solid fertilizer that "IMPROVES THE HARVEST OF YOUR FIELD". You'll notice when you fill both tanks there is also a different sound effect. In short one improves the harvest and the other increases output. The key is reading the description and looking for the two differences.

ok so im having trouble with the frc feild container. im trying to fill it with the kotte 30000 slurry tank but it wont fill it, the option doesnt come up. im starting to get pissed off ive tried alot of different things, it just wont fill

I was hoping to see something on "How to mass-move silage". After cutting grass & moving it to biomass, it compacts . . . then you cover to ferment for silage. At this point, I've seen (once & not sure if it is a mod) , , , a machine that feeds that silage into a transporter. Do you know any (non-modded) way [other than 1 scoop at a time] to move biomass silage?
What fertiliser/sprayer do you use
There is another source of slurry. When you mow grass, and then take it to the biogasplant bunkers. you compress it in those 4-5 silos. only need to fill a bunker to 10-12 percent. Then you can blanket it and let it ferment ( about 12 hours) then shovel it into the hopper on the side of the silo at that lower biogasplant ( where you said it over flows on your farm to the larger tank). the ratio is like 3:1 3 liters of silage to make 1 of slurry. i think bales of straw or hey or other stuff can be compressed also, not recall. So not really need cows although that may be faster then mowing grass not sure. but yes there is another way other then cows and such to get slurry as a by product from the biogasplant
The good things also is that you not have to re fertilize or replant the grass, just if i recall you can not hire worker to mow the grass, so it is time consuming, but yeah no need to replant or anything. Also the silage is a high money maker too.
So do you just do one thing, one or other, or do you do it all?

Straw is bedding. You want it to be that way.

Is it actually worth the work of fertilizing your fields? I mean it's one extra step and when you own all the fields that equals a hell of a lot of time. Is the yield so much bigger that it's worth it? I've always skipped this step and I'm wondering I should start doing this or not?
+Electric Potroast YES DO IT! You can always attach the fertilizer spreader to the front of the track while the sower is on the back (just attach the sower first if you're going to hire a worker to do it).

Yes. The fertilizer can be sprayed at any stage before the plant is mature.
so all the cows have to do is put straw in one of the troughs and then manure is AUTOMATICALLY generated and it AUTOMATICALLY appears at that tap and it AUTOMATICALLY appears at that loading dock?
The only problem when you hire a worker to fertilize, they will continue driving even if the fertilizer/slurry tan is empty. Got any solution to this one?

Get a fast tractor
Hold L1 and up on the left joy stick for PS4 to set the maximum speed while being controlled by hired help. There are videos that explain it here in youtube.
Try changing cruise control
actualyy you could get a more powerful tractor to pull the tank. Each implement has a specific amout of horsepower required to run it efficiently

I always just do it before it's harvestable. I'll do some more testing on it when FS17 comes out.

One more question... What would you recommend... The ITRunner DLC/mod or the JCB DLC/mod?
Haven't used either of them a ton. I'm hoping to get a video for each of them up by the weekend or possibly Friday.

Nope, it all works the same. Slurry is just a free byproduct of animals so is usually your go to mid-to-late game.

Keyboard and mouse. I hope they allow for higher sensitivity in FS17.

When you run out of fert, seed, manure, it automaticly starts deducting from your bank account, sou you can fill very little and just hire worker and pay that way, i cant fill my field tank!

Paul Williamson, you have a linked comment so I can't reply to it, hope you see this. I sort of snuck in that answer at the end of the video. ALL fertilizers yield the same result.
i'm playing FS2017...I don't have an livestock to make my own slurry...but do have a spreader, so want to buy some slurry...if I go up to the tank near the Shop...and drive next to it..i get a message saying...first i need to fill the tool...but I thought, driving next to it allowed you to auto fill ( and pay obvioulsy)...Any clues as to what I'm doing wrong please..?
You can't buy slurry.
So, unless I buy livestock, I can only put sprays onto the fields...and not Slurry or fertilizer then..?
You can sell silage at the biogas plant which will turn about 1/3 of it into digestate (located at the biogas plant) which is used in the same way slurry is.
Aight Moose. Another good vid. Questions though. Once you purchase a cow, do you HAVE to use slurry or the solid manure? If you don't have the vehicles such as the front loader to load the solid, will the slurry and solid just suddenly overflow your farm? In other words, if you go with a cow or cows does that mean you HAVE to deal with slurry and solid manure? May be a dumb question but I'm considering purchasing one cow for now and do not wanna suddenly be swamped in slurry and solid all because I don't have a slurry tank or the manure spreader and front bucket to load it. Understand my question? Any input you can give I'd appreciate. Thanks bro!

Nope! They'll both collect to 100% then stop. And 100% is A LOT so don't be in a rush to use it if you're not ready.

Demarcus Taylor You place them down and that's it! It'll provide you money every hour automatically. The solar panel and windmill work the same way. The only placeable you have to work with are greenhouses.

If you can afford it, buy a few solar panels, and turn up the time, and leave your game running over right. Will get you a nice start. But if you want stupid amounts of money. Start paying windmills and leave the game going over night.
