@christinaherren Uptown has a lot of short term rentals if you’re looking for something with kitchen amenities as well as hotel options too. It’s a walkable area we hope you find enjoyable.

Interesting that this was recommended to me. I did look at Sedona on Zillow once a few months ago, but I'm still a renter and can't afford that. I can't believe that places are being rented for west coast prices. I get that Sedona is in the mountains and a little more protected from the brutal AZ heat, but I had never even heard of the place, just found it looking at a map...

Discovering Sedona through a map and then seeing it pop up in recommendations is a little serendipitous moment, isn't it? Sedona's allure is undeniable. The real estate and rental markets here can be surprising to many, especially when compared to other parts of Arizona. Sedona's market dynamics are unique, heavily influenced by its geographical limitations. With the town being nearly 80% built out and encircled by national forests, there's a natural cap on development, making every square inch of Sedona more valuable. This scarcity drives prices up, aligning them more closely with high-demand areas on the West Coast. You can find a range of options, with timing and research revealing hidden gems that fit within a budget.
