The obvious fact are the University systems have been infected with radical leftest professors. This has been a long term plan. Now a lot of those indoctrinated students work in high positions of law enforcement and government. We are seeing the results.
You don't get peace by protesting war. You get peace by preparing for war and deterring potential adversaries, and, if this fails and you find yourself at war, winning the war. The notion of 'Realpolitik' is completely foreign to these clueless idealist twits. Pacifism will not only fail to prevent wars, it will make sure you'll lose any ones you do end up in.
The counterculture protesters in the 1960s were by the way just as useless as today's college student protesters: they were the first generation to start the big dismantling of our civilisation by embracing degeneracy and rejecting traditionalism. If I had a time machine I'd travel back to 1968 during the Paris student riots and show Charles De Gaulle what'll happen if he decides to cave in to their pressure.
Or even earlier, because the 1968 student riots were nothing but the cancerous late stage of a ideological polyph which was already present in the 1920s. Where did Ho Chi Minh and Pol Pot study? At the Sorbonne. That says it all, really.

She is an advocate of a culture influenced by aspects of Christianity and of persons she admires who exhibit this influence, including Richard Dawkins, a famous outspoken atheist for many years. To her, despite his unwavering atheism, he is culturally a "Christian", someone courteous, civilized, and humane.

I read Ayaan’s book years ago. Her story is so sad, but she prevails. It was also a sobering warning about what is happening now. I wish I could meet this beautiful woman.

Yeah. The decentralization of this movement actually reminded me about how the fashion industry operates. Some new thing becomes all the rage and everybody has to have it and they quickly dump it for the next trivial thing. Much of the avant-garde fashion is unwearable and certainly unappealing to most people. The few fashion houses that endure have their gimmicks but mostly haughty name-recognition to thank. The high prices are not backed by quality. All participants are put under the microscope to create buzz and hype - scandal sells. So it goes with all things from the radically left.

I am so in awe of this lady. Her intelligence and clarity of thinking is exceptional.
Ayaan’s words have such mighty weight, I can almost feel the pull of gravity every time I listen to or read them. That she has been dismissed over the years is indeed an indictment on the dysfunction , prevalence of unreason/abandonment of reason, and overall instinct towards self-destruction we are witnessing in today’s Western culture. I mostly see this manifest in denial….where who I would have thought was amongst the most logical, reasonable, and responsible people I know (and mostly men I must say) will go out their way to avoid being informed on the big things and discussing them bc it’s at that point, it becomes real and that is uncomfortable. Many are so attached to comfort; they are clinging to anything to avoid being uncomfortable. This I find; not un-ironically; utterly idiotic, obviously counter-intuitive and disturbingly discomforting.
