- How to apply loose pigment eyeshadow using two techniques and two different products.
I do think the mixing technique will eliminate any possible fallout, while you could see, picking up the loose pigment and laying down onto the tacky base, I experienced quite a bit of fallout, which would be more noticeable with darker pigments.

This was super helpful, as I have a bunch of loose duo- and multi-chrome pigments and not much experience using them. Also, that is such a pretty look! :)
Thank you!
I love my Karla pigments. I’m her photographer and honestly love playing with them all day 😍
I’ve never used Loose pigments so I truly appreciate your teaching us
Hi, I usually use the Nyx glitter glue, or duraline time to time, which is so easy to use... Don t know the 2 others, but I will check them on... Just received my glam shop order.. So cool products, very similar to Bernovich
The Karla Cosmetics’s Fix Potion is so good!!! It works great if you pa the shadows on top or mix them into it. You need such a small amount and the jar is a good size I’ve used mine so many times and it barely looks like I’ve used it
Nyx glitter glue creases on me which is a shame because I love the high intensity foiled look I can get with it but it just doesn’t work in my crease. Wondering if the fix potion would be more crease proof
I use duraline mostly it's the best for my really hooded eyes
Thank you for this video. I have collected a few multi chromes, including Karla (I am from Uk) but have not as yet used my multi chromes.
I recently got 2 samples of loose pigments with my Tammy tanuka order and had been wondering how to best use them, so perfect timing! 😁
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Ah SUCH a great, informative video M! Paulina Beauty said that she got the Nyx Pigment primer, that it isnt as thick and works better for her, with her hooded lids. So I'm VERY keen on that pixy epoxy & the pigment primer. I do want to try that Karla cosmetics gel potion thing eventually 🤔 it looks nice! 🤩😎💜💜💜
OMG. THIS WEBSITES SHADOWS ARE MINDBLOWING. UGH. RONA. RONA IS KILLING ME. I NEED THESE SHADOWS.
I am so glad I got the pixie epoxy it's a game changer thanks 2 u and the blend bunny palette love both items u never disappoint on recommendations
That look is just WOW! I’ve just bought a heap of loose pigments & don’t really know how to apply them so your video is very helpful thanks.
This eye look is stunningly gorgeous
Thank you!
This was so awesome I think I like the pixie epoxy the best I still need to jump on the band wagon and get me some! Very pretty look
Oh & I absolutely love my Fyrrinae pixie epoxy & have to thank you for that! 🙏💜
It's a game changer
Me too))
I’m so glad I found this video. I have a ton of the glitter shadows, loose pigments, more wet pigments, and a ton of different brands, but my hooded oily lids kept causing them to smear and transfer. I was getting super frustrated, but I really think that I was wearing too much glitter glue and not waiting until it was sticky. I also have some mixing medium and I’m gonna try that too!! Thank you!
I used to be a bareminerals loose eyeshadow fan and never used anything but an eyeshadow primer!! Lol but now I would probably use an adhesive type product!
I am a new fan and subscriber. I have hooded lids. I have done loose eye shadows and will buy some primer gel. Your video is exactly what I needed. The way you apply your eye makeup is gorgeous!!
Thank you for posting, really helpful video! I rarely use loose pigments and if I am, I'll mix with duraline and use as a liner. Gorgeous eyelook 💙
I found this video so useful, thank you Milly! Love your eyelook so much! 💜
Wow this looks sooooooo pretty 🤩
Thank you so much for doing this video. I just purchased these loose shades and I didn’t know how to work with them. The first way you showed worked for me and I can’t wait to play and film with them
I have some duraline but so far I've only used it to revive dried super shock shadows.
Love your vids! Can you use the Karla Cosmetics fix potion as a glitter glue for other multichromes?
Just found this. Exactly what I'm looking for 😊
I use Nyx glitter primer the most often, but I also have been experimenting with Duraline recently.
You are SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I LOVE your eye look and lip color is stunning!! 🔥🔥♥️♥️
Another helpful video. The look is sooo pretty.
Hello! I will definitely try this mixing jelly from Karla! But, what I also wanted to ask, I have seen on Karla's cosmetics Instagram multichrome holographic pigments, have you tried them?
I ordered them so I will be trying them out!
This was very helpful! Excellent video!
I’m new to loose pigments and this was super helpful!
I recently picked up the neon collection of loose shadows by hank and henry on black friday. I just made sure to prime my eyes and I wet the brush and it seemed to hold just fine...but I am always looking for a better way. Those neon pigments are bomb, they glow in uv light. I had alot of fun playing with them. I am by no means an expert tho. The abh glitter glue works really well...as I think it's made for loose glitter.
This is for shimmery loose pigments, not matte pigments!
i like this look. see im the opposite i love loose powder pigments not already being mixed into a medium so that way i pick and choose what type of medium i wanted them in i.e. liquid more gel like tacky not tacky etc.
A.H.- M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!!😍❤️
the first gel potion you applied can use without mixing it as well and just apply it on the lid before the glitter please i wana order this but dont how long il wait for your reply your eyes look beautiful
I use duraline but willing to branch out. I have Nyx glitter glue but I haven t even opened it yet.
I feel like duraline is best for liner work! Great product though
Thank you, that helped me a lot 😊
Wow stunning!!
Love the eye look!!! I rarely use loose pigments because of the messiness. Don't like having to mix eye shadows and primers before applying them. I prefer multi-chrome pan shadows.I'm really curious about the Karla brand products. Can you use the Karla primer gel like you used the Pixie Epoxy directly on the lid and then tap on the eye shadow?
You totally could! But that way you will experience fall out most likely
I've had ribbon, teddy bear, sleep over & wonderland in my basket on the karla cosmetics site so many times & changed my mind! I'm def going to pick some up from them soon because I've been having fun experimenting w/loose pigments lately. I've been working on holo mixes & also made a multichrome pigment mix this morning using kristen leigh's "blossom" mixed with Chaos Cosmetics "spring on mars" w/some chunky moons & stars holo glitter! It's soooooo pretty! I'm trying to get a look done today so I can use your march multichrome madness hashtag! 🥰💜💞
That sounds sooo pretty! So much fun mixing pigments to get new one 😱
I love these looks.. I'm trying to be brave and try it on myself but I am a vintage wine of many years with hooded eyes.. I don't know if this is gonna work on me.
I have some epoxy pigments just like nail chrome powders can I also use them? They're not exactly made for eyes nor nails but I just think they're same..
Those are definitely not eye safe so it’s not worth the risk
That 💄 wow
Ps. Go dark brunette !!!
Does this brand ship to US?? This look is gorgeous!! I'm a multichrome lover but I don't own any yet. I always miss out because their sold out then when their available I have no money. :(
@@Ginaarceci oh awesome. Thank you so much!!
Ty for this. I just got my 1st loose pigments. I was nervous of using them. I also am considering panning them. Any advice on what to use for a binder?
uSING THE SECOND METHOD, HOW DO YOU GET THE PIGMENT FROM THE BRUSH TO THE EYE WITHOUT IT FALLING ALL OVER THE PLACE? THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE
I have pixie epoxy and when I use it, I feel like it makes my lids look wrinkly and textured. Do you think I’m just using too much?
Possibly!
If I don’t have a gel what can I use to make it creamy like u did with the gel
You can do the other method!
Girl that is FABULOUS! I'm buying!! Does shipping tax a while?
What brush did you use for your darkest matte? Love the look
What eyeliner did you use for your waterline?
what brushes did you use? i find a lot of times, the brushes being used are just as important as the techniques, and i'm majorly struggling with the brushes right now even for pressed shadows. awaiting the arrival of a set of loose shadows, and now i'm nervous
I was wondering this too! I'm inexperienced with makeup, and have a feeling I'm using the wrong brushes for what I want, which is causing tons of fallout :/
What lipstick are you wearing?
@badtothebrow have you tried concrete minerals by chance
I have a long time ago. They stole Alex Anele’s eyeshadow look and tagged their products when the products were actually by Pat McGrath. I called them out and they kept deleting my comments until I contacted Alex who told her contact at Pat McGrath and then they took it down, probably got warned
Thank you for the tutorial! Is anyone else getting the Pixie website is closed page when you click the link?

@@badtothebrow Awesome, thank you!
Love the look and the video! I am also having trouble with the links for the pixie epoxy. I tried googling it and couldn't find anything. If there is any info about where to find it I would appreciate it! Thank you!
Yeah, I use water - either tap a bit of water with my finger on the lid (and then tap the pigment over, in smol bits),
or mix the pigment in its cap with 1-2 drops of water. Buuut my lids aren't hooded nor oily, so there's that heh
💜✨💜
im amazed U Are Very Amazing Beauty Guru
From my wife she said she "minus well use up the clear face primer to the use after 6 Years of not understanding the use of it. Um minus well put it to use ..it's just to much work for the real reason it's for "..so she said she going to use it for her eyeshadows and see how that goes "
