This video is a Ghibli-style piano piece I created, inspired by the movie 'Kikujiro's Summer'. I reinterpreted the emotion of this beautiful film into music using AI. 'Kikujiro's Summer' is a beloved work with a touching, lyrical story and an emotionally powerful soundtrack.
I particularly love the OST 'Summer' from 'Kikujiro's Summer'. Although I have taught piano to both adults and children, I had never watched the movie until my two sons were old enough to understand it, and we watched it together. I still can't forget the expression of the protagonist, Masao, who appears stoic but deeply sorrowful.
I tried to capture the warm afterglow of this movie in my piano melodies, so I hope you can take a moment to escape from your daily life and find some healing.
