Golf courses: Yes. Cemeteries: Absolutely Not! In fact, if you keep only a few golf courses, the price just goes up because they become even more “exclusive “
That’s why he says to get rid of them!! Make them not legal. Stop watering grass for cemeteries and dead people. Leave the resources for the living. Build an alter in your home. Stop wasting resources.
i lived near a high end golf course rich ppl played at growing up and we used to take a jeep and drag ppl behind it on an innertube on the course. I enjoy golf. I dont appreciate the classism and elitism that comes with it in some places. Rather drive balls off my back porch with a beer and friend than deal with aholes at a countryclub lol
The cemeteries idea is not a good one, how we treat our dead is of cultural significance, it's a place we can visit to commune (even if it is one sided, doesn't matter), a place to mourn or find solace. Besides I don't think he was that serious about it.
I will say, that if we would treat the living as respectful as we treat the dead a whole plethora of problems, including homelesness, would not exist.
Getting rid of golf courses, no problem, do it today.
Grow up and face reality.
We still simply don’t have the space. You’re dead. Literally, we don’t have enough room for cemeteries anymore. And watering the grounds around dead people? No. Cremation. Make an alter in your home to your beloved-they are in the ether, not in that ground.
