Don alone by himself is a reason good enough to check out and get into Nunslaughter. One of the most metal human beings to ever exist! Don’t dismiss them prematurely, they have a lot of cool music and there’s something for everyone.
Wow what a nice man,I remember when I saw these guys in Mexico City and they were so kind off stage. Once they played they really unleashed hell!!! Nice interview Rauta!!!!
What a great interview. I could not stop watching. I have more respect for the band now and I agree, when you see Nunslaughter you definitly smile, so awesome.
Really good interview, check. Don's a really nice guy, check. Nunslaughter... Really good interview and Don's a really nice guy, 100%. Cheers to Rauta and Don. 🤘👹🤘🍻
I'd really like to see an interview with Infernus of Gorgoroth from you one day. You have the right qualities to handle an important (and at the same time elusive) individual like him. Too bad that for this very reason it may be impossible to reach him.. Maybe even just an audio-only interview, who knows..
Thanks for your comment. Yes, I have already asked if Gorgoroth / Infernus would like to do an interview, but I have been told he doesn’t like video format. Audio format is something I can ask about, too.
Great stuff here RAUTA 👏 amazing as always. Dude you're probably the best true metal interviewer on the net \m/ you gotta do a interview with J-Dawg from HHR. Later dude
Great interview, Don seems like a really chill guy. He mentions cancel culture and while he is correct , im under the impression he may not know this has been going on for decades, especially when it comes to rock music. For whatever reason , rock/ heavy metal has been under fire since the beginning, Beatles records in the 60s being burned to protesting rock / metal shows in the 80s. I dont know how it is in other counties but unfortunately , this has been a thing in the states for a long time.
Yep. "Dangerous" music has always been targeted. Let's not forget that three decades ago bands like Cannibal Corpse and Rotting Christ were banned in Germany, for example.
What an excellent way to put it.. “reached my saturation point” this is exactly it too. It’s hard to consume and get into these newer bands when there was so much going on in the 90s. I have a whole collection of thousands of great albums that I love to listen to and have memorized how can I possibly fit any more hahah
Cool! Just ordered the new disc and Long-sleeve...long story short...49 and been into Metal as a whole since the late 80's(mostly Extreme since the early 90's)...some things just slip through the cracks, I guess...really digging this band's energy and it sounds pretty fresh to me...better late than never?!?! 😂 🤘 🤘
I'm sure Justin of HHR turned you onto Nunslaughter. Great Interview. Although I would have liked to have heard more questions about the early days and about why I took him so long to finally release a full length album and if he has any regrets about it. You should do an interview for Blasphemy next or Black Witchery.
Actually he did not. I’ve seen the band ages ago live and as such I knew what to expect. And of course I try to interview bands that are rare and far away from here since hard to guess when would be the next possibility to do that. BW and Blasphemy would be cool to do but they haven’t done any shows here recently.
Awesome interview. I brought my cousin and his girlfriend (a Catholic) to a Nunslaughter set at MDF without a disclaimer. I was worried. She said she loved it and thought it was hilarious and had a great time. Thats a sign of a sick band!
Somebody needs to get serious with Nunslaughter & HHB. Ask Justin how to spell dog.. And Don hates everything. So why bother? Just looking for a little consistency.
That’s the point: fantasy literature etc .fall into the same category. Sorry to breek it for you but everything from Burzum to Summoning and beyond was created by these people. Sorry not sorry if you don’t like it. Pretty much every single bm person I know from varous bands have interest in the topics you mentioned. Me included.
Lots of bands are tongue and cheek, look at Abbath in some of his interviews, hilarious stuff. I just saw them live in Cleveland with Possessed. Must see!
Don is a great guy!!! I love NUNSLAUGHTER!!!!
Great interview. HAILS from Cleveland.
A passionate host, interesting guests and interesting questions. Keep up the good work, man!
Thank you very much!

@@RautaMetal yeah, it would be interesting!
Def, just not likely to happen.

Wow legendary band!!
Ham sandwhich is actually real, so all hail the sandwhich! Great interview and Don seems like a really chill guy.
Don is a great guy .

Great stuff here RAUTA 👏 amazing as always. Dude you're probably the best true metal interviewer on the net \m/ you gotta do a interview with J-Dawg from HHR. Later dude
Thanks so much. Glad you enjoy these interviews. Would be cool to interview HHR man, sure.

Such an awesome dude man. Very humble. His views on things are due way should be. Love how he always shows his love for Konya too. 🤘 RIP

I'm going to see Nunslaughter with Profanitica and Tomb! Horns Up!
They were probably influenced by old Venom, they also had black humor

If anyone studied angels, morbid angel makes a lot of sense.
That's funny u ask to cool band can't wait to see something new and again

Nice interview as always! I should definitely spend more time listening to Don and his company.
Thanks!

Thanks! Seems like that gf finally understood that metal > religion.
As always, Rauta... stellar interview!
Thank you!
Great interview. You really do have a knack for this. Close your eyes, Don sounds like Travis Ryan.
Thanks!
Good one!!
🔥👁️🔥💨💨💨
Death metal manda cabrones!!!!!!!!!,
Never really listened them. Seems like very nice and joyful dude. Good interview as usual Rauta.
Thanks!
Canoe Flipping Poser Smashing Anti Tampon Boy Death Metal!
Big D on the house!
You can't spell "slaughter" without "laughter"
Precisely!
Cant wait to see them a third time, and to make it a charm I'll dress like a nun x3
Big D!
Hes very down to earth?! He kinda similar to Mortiis, somewhat very metalhead in real life
I hope one day you interview, guys Necrophobic
Me too
I only been lesson to Impity and this band skew the rest
Somebody needs to get serious with Nunslaughter & HHB. Ask Justin how to spell dog.. And Don hates everything. So why bother? Just looking for a little consistency.
Get serious in which way, care to elaborate?
I never thought nunslaughter was nerd shit. Oh well.
Did you know that most black metal is created by ”nerds” then? I mean, isn’t it quite obvious
@RautaMetal nah.when I think of nerds I think video games and comic collectors.
@RautaMetal guys I work with are nerds and they generally scared of my nunslaughter shirts so it's definitely not the same thing
@RautaMetal I don't think that's nerd shit.nerds pretty much look at metal people like we are losers and generally don't like the whole satanic thing.
Just when I thought panda metal wasn't cringe enough.
Cringe is the chili of emotions
Poser band.
