I can never trade my Africa for any place in the world. It's the simplicity for me, brings peace of mind. No stress, no depression. Just a simple life, Anna you got to experience it first hand now. It may look ridiculous to someone else who doesn't know the peace of mind that comes with it.

What a beautiful, simple and healthy life. I never appreciate African life until I move to America. And bom the reality hit me. Now I'm even grateful I come from that rich continent and I'm coming back next month. I remember when one white woman asked me why y'all Africans think America is a better place? We can barely survive here and we are struggling, and y'all come here and struggle 10x worse than us. She said no LIES!!!

Hi Anna it's really important to know your history, Afraka's civilisation was in existence when the Western world was derelict, people from around the world travelled to Egypt for 1st class education, Western economy depends HEAVILY on Afraka, (note the original name AFRAKA not AFRICA) and its resources, first Universities were in Afraka, we just need to. Know and Rediscover ourselves, Visit other parts of Afraka continent and squash all those lies you were told. The originality of that part of the world must be kept intact, ask yourself where are some of the Netherlands resources coming from, Afrakan were kept from you for a reason

The cement blocks are being build the same way on certain Carribean Islands, and are the best ones!! Our neighbours in Curaçao did the same way . I recognised him as one of my pals in Accra New Town in the early 70's. A little of intro of myself. My name is John Agbo (a.k.a in those days as Johnnievi). Your dad I were church mates at Kpehe Roman, during Rev. Fr. Lauck's tenure and we used to play together.
I am currently residing in Los Angeles, California for the past 15 years and before then was abode in Germany between 1991 and 1993. In the video, I did recognised Antoine and Emelia whom I have met a couple of times that I visited Ghana in the Abelenpe area.
Ask your dad if he can still remember me. My family house then was behind Ghana Commercial Bank in Accra New Town and adjacent to the then popular chop bar called "Madam G. F"). If he can recollect, I would like to reconnect with him. I am on schedule to leave the US at the end of April to visit Ghana.

There’s just one thing that I couldn’t get use to: walking barefoot.
You’re right about being creative and innovative, the Africans have it in spades. Can you imagine if Africa didn’t have to undergo colonialism and have the continent divided up by the Europeans where it would be today? Give it time and commitment, it will emerge from the ashes into a powerhouse that will be the envy of the world. We just have to believe in ourselves. By the way, just keep those vlogs coming!!

Simply people and simply life and very easily to live. You are really experienced a village lifestyle and its nature with the natural food. The village people are very healthy and very strong enough. The environment is pretty good.

Back home in Suriname as a kid I remember we didn’t have dolls but we used to make them from trees and the head used to be from a cherry or an olive ..
we are not as far as the west because we don’t have these advanced tools and application etc
But the knowledge is definite there !

Once again another powerful video! Take away the modern conveniences that we have gotten used to and let’s see how many people can really survive. Modern conveniences help but when we rely on just them we lose The skills for survival. I also would like to comment on the girls doing the work before they eat I think there should be a little bit given on both sides the boys should learn that girls have qualities they do not have and are able to have innovative ideas and also for the girls it is good for us to keep a little bit of our humbleness and our ability to serve our men because ultimately it helps them do more for us if it is a healthy relationship The men need the women to help them succeed and what woman does not want her man to protect her and care for her? Both of these things have a particular theme I think everything in moderation taking the good and beneficial things from each side and leaving the things that do not benefit behind. My husband is from GHANA as you might know and the wisdom he has from God is amazing I agree with all that you have said and Africans are very intelligent once again thank you

Anna, we have a few requests.
Is it possible that in your future videos you can show how ladies make their clothes, sew their dresses in traditional way in villages where there are tailors and no big shops selling in huge quantitie the same dresses. Can you do a video about how they can cook nice meals for generations without using cookbooks. Their memories are their cookbooks. We love how respectful your videos are and how you show the world of the people to us!!Groetjes uit Nederland💐💐💐💐

Anna, those normal Ghanaian ways are common in the Caribbean.
Climbing very tall coconut trees to cut the bunches of nuts for sale and also, drinking at home, sharing with friends; the bags of juice (called sucker bags); sweeping with coconut branches (the stems are separated from the leaves and tied together to form brooms, usually to sweep the yards, though there is a spiritual side to them); using old tires as toys (not done today as children are now into technology), but in my time it was normal.
We also used the rims and simply called them, "rollers".
Life has changed immensely, many traditions have been cast away, but they are still very valuable and will continue to be.
    Think for a moment!
What would be the position of man today, without electricity which most people take for granted?
Africans and other indigenous peope everywhere would be better off than most of the world.
I am country in my heart, I like the comforts of modern day up to a point, BUT, in the country, I am me.
Nothing is wrong with Ghanaian or any other indigenous way of life.
    To each his own!
If it were mine, I wouldn't trade it.

It is so amazing how they brought those skills with them to the Caribbean. We had the same thing in my country before tap water. One of the dangers was drowning . If you are too tall you could fall in.
Some were build on high elevation which can be slippery when wet.

      "Sucker bags" in Trinidad.
Sno cone is shaven ice in a paper cone or styrofoam cup, fruity syrup (guava or some other fruit), poured over the ice and, if desired, condensed milk on top.
      Delicious!
