hita techi yeah it’s even better than the AUG, Marley just doesn’t know how to use it lol. Grip or fmj is great and with SP it 2-hit kills at any range of the map with minimal recoil. Easily the best lmg not just in mw2 but in cod history

Marley was deranked back in 2017 and was ranked back up by a modder who helped out afterwards.
He made two videos on it, one of him getting deranked and one about mods in CoD.
So him having Fall camo isn't accurate at all to his original usage.

I used LMGs a lot back in the MW2 days. A quick guide:
* L86 LSW - don't bother
* RPD - great with the grip, or FMJ if you can handle the recoil or use bling
* MG4 - doesn't need a grip so use a sight if you don't like the irons otherwise FMJ is fun
* AUG HBAR - either a grip or extended mags
* M240 - don't bother, or maybe a grip if you want to be bold
I normally run sleight of hand on **all** LMG classes as I like to be more mobile and less campy. If you can tolerate the slooow ADS and reload then either bling with a grip + attachment of choice or scavenger is always worthwhile. EDIT: Also stopping power is pretty much essential due to the damage model on all MW2 LMGs

Btw the L86 in MW3 was a beast once you had Thermal Sight
In mw2 l86 is good boe just tap fire it shoot so fast that one tap is two bullets so a kill and because of the damage+rpm its the best lmg to hip fire
Pffff L86LSW was my favourite mW2 LMG. Those amazing backup ironsights.

Fun fact about the MW2 version; The ACOG scope is actually replaced by the SUSAT Scope; it uses an "obelisk" style post instead of the more conventional ACOG reticle; I personally think the ACOG works better, but the SUSAT is actually EMP-immune since, irl, it uses Tritium paint rather than any electronics whatsoever.
The TA31H Acog by trijcon also uses tritium.

Fun fact: The L68 LSW is basically just a beefed-up version of the Enfield assault rifle from Black Ops (both are members of the SA80 family). Look at it while it's idle and you'll quickly notice the visual similarities.
Edit -- Also, a bizarre fact: For some reason the silencer doesn't actually work on the M240, MG4 and M9. You still lose the range, but you also still show up on enemy radars when you shoot. No real reason to use silencers on those unless you just want to show off.

Here's something to consider - the L86 with stopping power is a two-shot kill at any range, which is better than the FAL can do without. Also, it fires rather fast for a high-damage weapon, so there's your close-mid range credibility. Recoil could be worse. Also, reloading is fastest of the 100-round MGs.

The rpd should be used with fmj and stopping power. It’s damage is insane
I always loved lmgs but hated the reload speed, but not having worry about ammo all the time was the best part of using them
If I recall correctly, the MG4's iron sights are actually misaligned with the player's point of aim.
Using an M240 with the bugged silencer that does nothing but lower your damage. Definition of a mad lad here.

Marley, Have another go with the RPD please mate, Scavenger, Stopping power, Steady aim. RPD, FMJ, Secondary of your choice semtex for offensive play or clay for Def also consider sleight of hand for offensive play.. Controlled taps for burst, aim for the chest and the second or 3 bullet should hit face from aggressive recoil.

Gary putting on an acog on the RPD shows just how little he's used it. My recollection of that gun is that it was an actual laser and that I really liked the iron sights.

MARLEYTHIRTEEN IS A LEGEND
RPD is one of the best guns in the game without a doubt. I do play on pc so it’s much easier to control the recoil and burst fire etc. Same with turning and shooting people all around you quickly, won’t be nearly as good on console, normal ARs and smgs like the UMP especially reign supreme there due to the fact you can run and gun so easily and people will struggle to kill you. I used to play on PS3 so that’s why I don’t remember the RPD being that great but on pc it is an absolute monster.

RPD Grip Slight of hand stopping power was a monster
That’s pretty much all I use whenever I’m playing with my friends on there. I use the MG4 with FMJ and holographic. With a stinger as my secondary. So I can run support for my buddies and shoot down other peoples killstreaks.

The Acog on the rpd increases recoil. Best bet is to always just go straight iron sights

Not sure if you know this Marley, but the silencer is useless on the M240. There’s a glitch that also affects the MG4 and M9 where the silencer still shows you on the radar when you fire it.
The RPD was the first gun i unlocked extended mags for, class gun
Think it might have been MW3, but I ran L86LSW with silencer and thermal scope. Weirdest combo but so effective. Turned it into a mid range sniper that melted

The main issue with LMGs is that the fast paced, close quarters, reactionary gameplay of CoD just doesn't suit them - LMGs only became comfortable when Stalker was introduced in MW3, and the equivalent perk or attachment in those that followed.

Good video as always, it's nice to see mw2 still getting love.
I had a few thoughts while watching the video though, I didn't like how you used the LMG's with awful attachments because they are viable options, especially the RPD, it far outclasses the AUG. There was no need to try and switch it up attachments wise because you were switching guns every game, I'd much prefer to see you use the same attachments but melt people, showcasing how good the weapon can be in the right hands. It makes people who watch the video actually want to try it out rather than dismissing it as a pile of wank.
RPD with fore-grip, stopping power and one man army or scavenger is a strong class, MG4 FMJ is called "explosive rounds" because of a glitch and has god tier wall bangs, M240 is decent with a grip, AUG speaks for itself and the L86 gives you ebola if you use it. Obviously slow movement speed and ads is rough and that makes LMG's not for everybody but you should play to the strengths of the weapon, pitch a tent.
This is just my opinion of course, I just wanted to offer thoughts I had on the video as constructive criticism, I rate your vids Marley and don't want to come across as a ball bag!
