I’ve never been to one his concerts but from I’ve heard from everyone who has been to one says that all he does is walks on stage, plays his guitar and sings. Nothing fancy; just plays and sings and people go nuts. I guess that’s why he’s been the King of Country for so long.

I'm a Yankee (but I got to Texas as soon as I could!, after retiring from the Navy.) I remember hearing "Amarillo by Morning) while in the Navy and I knew George Strait was special. Just amazing and so talented!!

George Strait has been my all time favorite. He was playing at BOK in Tulsa a few years ago. My husband and I wanted to go so bad but there was no way we could have ever afforded the tickets. They wanted $400 for the nose bleed section. So I will continue to just watch him online and listen to his music. Maybe one day if he ever comes back to Oklahoma and the prices are within our grasp but I highly doubt it

I love to hear George sing but my favorite songs are the ones when the talks the song. I love his regular voice, it’s so Texan, Love the accent. George is the King of Country Music, and his “Ace in the Hole Band” is his Royal Court. I think George loves holding court, it makes him happy. As one of his subjects he have all my love and respect. Texan in my accent! I think it’s because their accent so strong & southern! GS is a showman, he doesn’t do flashy, he’ll show off a pretty guitar but doesn’t himself!
