LOVED IT! And no curse words….thanks. When I was in high school we lived on a ranch next to the ocean. Had a bunch of new bulls brought in - rank like they would come across quite a distance to talk with my dad and his horse. Yup, ol’ footrot so he roped him and had him tied down. Gave the medicine and then prepared to get away quick. Apparently he was at a disadvantage so he took off running……but he could hear the clomping behind him. Finally snuck a peak back -- it was his horse following him. I think about that scene (perfect for a cartoon) even after 60 years. I can say he did not have your great technique to safely disengage.
