i just bought a vango tent and the windows dont look nothing as smooth as they do on that tent,any ideas on getting the wrinkles out?
The main thing is to get heat onto the windows will it is pitched. Typically the creases then fall out.
So far, I am quite negatively surprised for what I am seeing. We were about to buy Springville for the next season and I can't find it anymore on their website. It was the only tent with the 6000 mm water head and stronger material to start with. Where is Quick & Quiet on this model? Did they discarded it and replaced with Stonehill / Moonhill? New models do not allow to completly remove / roll-off the fron section? In my opinion, this is a big design regression 😞
So the Springville is a complete different specification. The best way to describe it is as Good, Better, Best. The Stonehill would be Good, whereas the Springville would be Best. So the deluxe collection is aimed at more price pointed customers.
The Q&Q door on this model is in the bedroom section only. The front section on all Outwell tents aren’t detachable but often you can zip them back all of the way.
If you are after a Springville tent it would be worth checking out website as I believe we have a few left.
@@AttwoollsCoUk I know the newly introduced tents are of a lesser category. But, did they discontinue Springville? It was a top vereion of their non cotton material. The tricky thing is, that to import it from the UK, the custom dutties would apply. And Czech dealers had only a 2022 version, so no front sleeves. Is it also clever to buy anything from a possibly discontinued product line? What about potential replacement parts / repairs then?
@@PetrKrenzelok currently it isn’t in the rages for the 2024 season.
There is no issue with disconnected items as they are still supported by a warranty and Outwell do keep some spare parts in Denmark.
Hi do you have the Stonehill 7 and 5 on display in store?
Not at the moment but we are hoping to get it up really soon as we have had a lot of interest in the tent thus far.
Just wondered if either the 5 or 7 was up in your showroom now?
