First I don’t no if you remember me or not but I’m the one that lives in southern Iowa pretty close to the ice tournament that you had went on about 3 or 4 years ago!! Any ways a couple buddy & I are wanting to head up north this winter to do some ice fishing & was wondering what lake & state would you recommend going on for are very first time going on a road trip to ice fish!! We do have ice huts & also a side by side & just about anything else that might be needed!! Thanks in advance for all the info!!
Can't go wrong in Minnesota or South Dakota. Variety wise, I love SD for exactly what happened in this video! You can catch 3-5 species out of the same hole nearly any day!
Justin that slough didn't happen to be Shaeffers Slough was it? Heard the bite there lately has been insane, I'm heading up there next week. Looking forward to the next episode on your channel.

When was this shot? Pretty good chance I was on the slough at the same time lol. Always a good early ice spot. Bite has pretty well died off now.
