Good video. Not a while lot of all-time classics for this year. But the top of the rankings are still impressive. She Wore A Yellow Ribbon is a good Wayne movie, but not one of my all-time favorite ones. Voted up.

I like to look at the cast of the films.
In those days the studio system prevalent the actors had to work hard for their money moving from film to film. Same names popping up.
I notice a film called Rough Shod starring the great film noir actress Gloria Grahame.
Another film Colarado Territory remake of the Bogart gangster film High Sierra.
Fighting Kentuckian John Wayne with Oliver Hardy. I wonder where was Stan Laurel.

I have only seen she wore a yellow ribbon from 1949 which is ok by me I might check out some of the other ones in the future which would you recommend.
Mike, I've only seen 3 of the 25 and the only one I can definitely recommend is the one you've already seen. The other two I've seen are Colorado Territory and The Fighting Kentuckian. It wasn't a great year for westerns. The next decade was packed with great westerns.
More great stuff, including several I’m not familiar with. I noticed the Tim Holt film “Rustlers” had 1952 as the date instead of 1949. Maybe that’s when it was finally released?
