I love how Bo Katan is like "I'm a real Mandalorian" and The Mandalorian is like "'I'm a real Mandalorian" and boba feats just like, I'm not a Mandalorian, I'm just a simple man trying to make his way through the galaxy"
And yet Boba has more of a right to be the Mandalore and more of a right to the dark saber than anyone else..

If it’s true that Grand Admiral Thrawn is being setup to be the Thanos-like villain in the Favreau-Filoni collaboration, then the threat he presents could provide the motivation necessary for Din to accept the mantle of the Manda’lor and unite the scattered clans and factions.
i think thrawn base is in mandalore and the mandalorian will take it back with the help of boba fett criminal empire and din djarin as the leader of mandalore leading the mandalorian people to take back their homeworld
@Cad Bane i am saying a base for his starships and armies and if mandalore is abondon why does bo katan needs weapons to take it back
Mandalore the Wayfinder
@Cad Bane Perhaps Ezra may be on Thrawn's side in the Ahsoka series, but only to help him defeat the Grysks. Perhaps Ahsoka and Sabine will mistake Ezra's intentions for joining Thrawn's side and thinking he's been corrupted by Thrawn, but Ezra really knows that the Grysks are the real threat.
@Cad Bane I have read all of the novels and I agree. But I'm speculating based on existing rumors that he will be a Thanos-like villain and that Filoni's version of Thrawn in Rebels was treated quite differently than in Timothy Zahn's novels. I prefer Zahn's version though.
Bo katan also did not receive all the support that she needed from the rest of the clans, not only for accepting the dark saber without having to fight for it, her supremacist ideas were also the causes that not all the clans supported her, she claimed to rule the rest of the Mandalorians because of her family name, also she couldn't accept outsiders, as if she thought that the Mandalorians are a race instead of a culture or creed, the first Mandalorians weren't even human and they accepted the humans to join their culture, I'm not saying that bo katan is the cause of everything, but she did make mistakes that contributed to the almost annihilation of the Mandalorians.
A bloody fate awaits for that usurper and her lapdogs

Season three will explore the springs below the mines of Mandalore for sure. Din at this point doesn't have much to go off of next apart from what the Armorer had spoken to him about, and he'll need proper guidance on how to weild the darksaber. Perhaps Luke will be the one to ultimately convice Din to pursue the path the Armorer set out for him, but to make his own decision on what it truely means to be mandalorian along the way. I believe that a surviving Mythosaur may be present under the mines, and as the armorer stated in the prophetic legend, will be a major part in the unification of the mandalorian people.
Sounds awesome, can’t wait.
I thought the same thing about the Mythosaur being secluded away in the living waters of Mandalore!
I'd love to see Din talking with Luke about Grogu & the present he has for him. In revealing the gift, Luke sees the darksaber & asks to see it. From that point on we'll be in for an amazing ride!!!
maybe the mines of mandalore are force related like dagaboh and he will see the ghost of tar vizila and it will be great way of introducing such a character and din djarin will unite all mandalorians since his time and i also believe mandalore is occupied by thrawn as his base and mandalorian will fight tharwn in an epic battle
@@muhammadsadiq-gb5tp if mandalore was occupied by thrawn it would make no sense for ahsoka to be searching for people with clues to his whereabouts? she would likely have heard rumour of said occupation and would therefore know where thrawn was or atleast the best place to search for information
I think it's so immersive when the hero actually struggles with power and isn't able to get away with everything.
I just want to see Din riding a mythosaur! lol
Notice that the Armourer didn't call him an "apostate" when banishing Din. That might not be a bad development for him. Just "a wait and see" stance of what he's going to do next. Maybe she's got plans for him?
She's always been very objective in her observations and interactions. She talks about the the Jedi, Empire, and Bo Katan very matter-of-factually and seemingly without judgement. She already told Din what he needs to do redeem himself. I imagine "wait and see" is correct.
Exactly! She would have asked for the armor back if she really wanted him gone. She knows he'll head to Mandalore and find the Living waters and that will be a victory for all Mandalorians.
Prob means that she still acknowledge Din as the rightful wielder of the Dark Saber and a potential leader, but knows that he is still not ready to be the ruler Mandalorians need due to a conflicted spirit, so she thought finding the Living waters would be the trial Din needs to be ready. And she knows Din enough to know that he will not betray the way of the Mandalorian or its people.
I mean she probably knows Din took the helmet off for Grogu.
@@thecommentguy9380 I think it's a lot simpler than that. Her views are very black-and-white. He won the blade, it's his. He took off his helmet, he's not Mandalorian. The context, mitigating details, and future potential don't factor in because she has a fundamentalist adherence to the creed.
@@jesse1018 she would demand him to return the armor if she was that black-and-white. OR, just challenge him to get the blade to ensure it's in mandalorian hand
someone who gets it, this wasn't a random mandalorian episode, I have been following filoni ever since the CGI movie that started his canon, this episode was about where are we heading, also the Forger tells the prophecy of the Mythosaur, the one who will bring mandalore to a new era, and fellas, tell me who else is wearing a mythosaur sigil?? we had this episode to introduce us what is boba heading also , bringing fett and Djin together just forged the path to the new era, but people are not ready , they wanted something plain on the book of boba, but Filoni and Favreau are aiming even higher
💯🎯
you are hell right boss
Also Din Djarin knows first hand that Boba Fett is an honorable man and Din considers him to be Mandalorian. Bo Katan has shown that she will change any agreement at her convenience and the Armorer has her own plans. So Din Djarin knows he can only rely on Boba Fett to keep his word.
👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Didn’t Boba become Manda’lor in Legends? It’s definitely something I’d want to see. If only they wrote his character better for this series.
I think what went unnoticed was that the Armorer said that the Rise of the Misosaur will lead Mandalore out of the ashes. Boba has the Misosaur as his symbol. Him riding the Rancor will start a new age for Mandalorians. Perhaps Tatooine will become New Mandalore. InB4 any of this happens
i think they will rise up with boba, him and mando are going to meet up so they might team up.
I think Boba will be the Mandalore
@@michaelmatejka1068, Boba rules Mos Espa, he can’t be Mandalore.
i think there is a surviving mythasour in the mines of mandalore and din dajarin will tame it thus forfiling the prophercy and heralding a new age for the mandalorian people
I think people have forgotten that Boba is currently only 41 years old. He’s finally back to being 100 percent healthy at the end of Chapter 4. They’re definitely setting up something big for him. Btw, Din Djarin is only a few years younger than Boba. I think both characters are going to play a huge part in Season 3 of The Mandalorian, and Bo Katan could end up being the antagonist.
Grogu is technically both of Jedi and Mandalorian... even the hardliners like the Armorer would have a hard time arguing with him if he was to say, come by the Darksaber while saving Mando's life if Visla or the Armorer challenge him for it and are about to strike him down after taking control of it.
He's a Mandalorian foundling *and* a force user.... that's all I'm saying.
Well, the big issue is how you define a Mandalorian. Grogu *was* a foundling, but unless he chooses to live up to the Mandalorian customs (wearing armour and never taking off his helmet etc) then he isn't both.
It is kind of mutually exclusive since the Way of the Mandalore and the Jedi code are fairly at odds
"You are no longer a Mandalorian… but sure go ahead and walk out of here with the Beskar armor and holy relic of our people." That made no sense to me.
All valid ideas in my opinion. But I can really see the point that the Armorer is setting up Din Djarin so she can challenge him for the Darksaber. However, by the time The Armorer does this challenge, I think Din will have grasped the use of the Darksaber and The Armorer loses. The only way I would see Din lose is that maybe the Mandalorian show is ending and they want to do another spin-off show. The way I am seeing the Mandalorian is that it still has a great deal to offer and they should consider extending this show. The Mandalorian is a hit show bringing in a great audience and that also means $$$ why would you want to end something that is making you $$$?
Look at what happened to the clone wars
Yeah but why didnt she challenge din immediately? It's clear that she's better than him, by far
I think she is setting him up on the right path, this is why she tells him this is the way, when talking about springs or lakes. He will somehow redeem himself?
doesn t make sense. She could challenge him now.
I think she’s trying to make him into her idealised Mandolorian successor, issue is she only sees him as he was before the journey and is incapable of seeing him as this much more confident and capable man who priotised the protection of Grogu over himself. The fact that he had been unmasked immediately changed the dynamic between he and her, so she sent him on the quest.
I think that ultimately, to use the armourer terminology, that Din is much more flexible and tempered then he once was, his quality of character becoming less cultish mandolorian extremist and more of a protector of the people as a whole, even when he is battered or dinged he will be reforged. The armourer is cast iron, she is incredibly hard and Brittle and thus would shatter before she bends her ideology. That means that at some point, their beliefs will be incompatible and she will challenge him for the dark saber.
Why not now? Because up to that point she hadn’t seen the change in Din, but wont tarnish her honour, she still believes he will serve the way blindly as she does. That and honour is a real big thing; she legit believes that Mandolore was razed because of a *energy sword*, that’s profoundly superstitious, but to her it’s real.
He still mandalorian, IMO. Just not a member of The children of the watch or Death watch. He can still do right by mandalorians
CotW need to get with the times and unite with the remaining Madolorians if they want to save their ways
the armorer is on my kill list for what she did to that gorgeous beskar spear...
I think mando is gonna be the next mandolorian jedi, he has been shown to have jedi like reflexes and even can sense people when he hasnt heard, seen or even looked in the direction, and im pretty sure he sensed Ashoka in ep 6 when he was asleep on the bench
To be honest although I did love Grogu, I honestly think the upcoming Mandalorian battles are no place for a baby, it’s best if for the moment Grogu remains safe with Luke, but I as well as many other Star Wars fans would love to see the reunification of all the Mandalorian clans.
In legendsJango Fett was head of the at the time largest Mandalorian faction, the true Mandalorian is, and he always intended for Boba to rebuild it after it was destroyed.
Although Boba may not lead it, I think it’s very probable he will be a part of his fathers dream to have a true mandalorians return. In fact maybe when the Mandalorian is deciding what to do boba will tell him of his father’s group and he may in fact choose that one to rebuild.
Agree, I think things should escalate and they should keep Grogu on the side lines for now training, then we can possibly get a Trained Talking Grogu later down the line. As maybe a big finale with him coming back to help with Luke, that would be epic but they should keep him out of the main focus for now. I don't mind occasional visits.
I think Boba will have no role in Mandalore. It seems like he doesn't care at all about the Dark Saber or Bo-Katan or anything about Mandalorians besides that his father was one. Mandalorians never did anything Boba, why would he care, honestly?
Grogu is not really a baby though. He still a 50 year old space wizard
@@monke12354 True he never cared about the Mandalorians, and the Mandaloriana never really cared about him, but his father did, and that might be enough incentive to bring him into the fold.
All his life it seems he’s only had only one real person he was close to and that was his father. That Is enough I think to bring Boba to the fight.
I feel like grogu will be the next tarre vizla being both mandalorian and Jedi wielding the dark saber for the longest due to his lifespan
Imagine Baby Grogu with Beskar armor!

I think that Din is going to be retaking Mandalore to redeem himself in the life stream in Mandalores mines but, is going to run into the last mythosaur and it will act like Bindu from Star Wars rebels and make him ruler of Mandalore.
the return of the king
Subscribed finally :) now once I've watched a couple more "must see" videos I'll probably hit that bell. I love your non polarized info on the SW universe.
I am hoping that the Armourer is guiding Din down the path of his destiny with the Dark Sabre, just as she guided him to return Grogu to his kind. Anytime that he would doubt that his assignment was even possible to achieve (whether it be find a a Jedi wizard to train the foundling Grogu or attone for your sins via the living waters under the mines of Mandalore ), she just responds with "this is the way" so he will accept nothing less in his relentless pursuit to achieve it.
It looks like she may have some hidden agendas/motives & obviously tells stories that fit her narrative, but it seems that it works; although Din suffers through these trials, it ultimately brings out the best in him and gets him 1 step closer.
Does she possibly may know something about Din's past (his real parentage, perhaps) that fullfills in her mind another heretofore unknown prophecy, heralding in a new era for Mandalorians? Is she going to keep pushing him - even if it means ultimately that she will need to be killed by him in a final duel - in order for him to fulfill his destiny & become the true leader? Stay tuned for Season III.
I have spoken.
Great points!
I kinda see her in a role of a mentor. She is clearly a cultural leader and is likely grooming Din to eventually take up the mantle. She gives him trials because she sees potential in him along with acknowledges his accomplishments. As he strayed from his creed by revealing his face, she gives him more opportunities to redeem himself.
The mandalorians presented here are paladin like in the characteristics of adherence to a code of honor/chivalry and also being armored.
Maybe the Armorer wants Din Jarin to find a solution especially since he won the Dark Saber in battle, wether he joins her Side or the other, the goal is unification along with not making as reckless of decisions. Like Mandalore as a planet could have been saved especially if freeing the planet from the Empire but it could have been done so differently and with heavy planning and reconocense missions to find out what the empire was planning and how to stop certain things from happening.
I love how everyone is overlooking the setup for Grogu to take the darksaber and mandalore. Also it's not a hard thing to figure out why Din can't use a lightsaber well, there's a large force component and he's not a believer.
Ok THANK YOU for this because I just started watching Mandalorian S3 and the “Previously on” had a scene from this episode you speak of and I was like wtf is this I never saw this?! And was so mad lol now I know what to watch.
everybody missed it, no one picked up on how episode 4 and 5 are connected and the new quest tip for season 3, conversation between finic and boba on slave one in episode 4, good mechanics in moss islie, no i'll do the work my self, what do we see in episode 5, mando doing the work him self on his new ship with a good mechanic in moss islie, the new quest tip came when the armorer poured what looked like living water from a vile that changed colors in the vat water to quench new forged beskar armor, proving there is access to the living waters in the mines on mandalore, just like in season two, finding out for himself that the jedi sorcerers were not his enemies, and season 3 finding out for himself some things on mandalor were not destroyed, what i am looking forward too is if mando and boba join up under the symbol of the mud horn as a clan.
Before that episode I had assumed that season 3 would center around Mandslore, the Dark Sabre and who will rule the new Mandalore. Grogu? I figured we would see a little bit here and there with the season ending with some sort of trouble with Grogu setting up the main story line for a season 4 if there is one.
I myself am ready for some season 3 Mandalore future with a little bit of Grogu, maybe a tiny bit of Boba Fett and a ton of Mandalorian culture.
All the lore got me right on the feels.
Thank you! May the force ne with you always! 🙏
Past two episodes made me think that the Darksaber is meant for Grogu. Dinn is not a Force user, he can't wield it properly, and he doesn't want to lead the Mandalorians. The blade was made by someone who was both a Mandalorian and a Jedi. What if Grogu decides to become both? Take both the armor and Yoda's saber. And teach Luke that the previous order was too dogmatic, that's why it had to go, and the new Jedi must be more open minded as well.
Of course this means that Grogu must fight daddy Mando for it. But what if he earns it in combat by fighting at his side?
Can you imagine a tiny, light Saber toting mandalorian. How the hell would they accommodate his ears?!
I agree
Grogu has to defeat Din Djarin in combat, like in a departing or training fight

@@SwaggerLikeUz if she witnessed the night of a thousand tears then that would be enough to change her.
I've read a few comments here speculating the possibilities in the future and I gotta say that there's some neat ideas being thrown around but I have one approach to it:
What if Din Djarin witnesses a conflict between Bo-Katan and The Armorer and he finally snaps between the two and their forces and ignites the Dark Saber, declaring his immediate leadership over the both of them and demands that Bo-Katan's side and the Armorer's side leave behind all their differences to unite as one people, commenting that this conflict between the different factions is precisely what caused Mandalore to crumble instead of prosper.
I think Din is going to learn how to control his feelings to master the darthsaber and figure out his true purpose in life. He will also find the lost mines to redeem himself. Maybe Bo-Katan and the armory will have a little fight than Din stops them & say like it or not we're all together in this am in charge . Boba will probably be involved as well.
I think it's equally as likely he'll learn from the other Mandalorians that allow the helmet to be removed. Deathwatch was always a bit extreme.
@@glenwaldrop8166 you mean the children of the watch is a bit extreme because deathwatch is Bo-Katan clan who do remove their helmets. Perhaps Din will set a meeting with Boba,Bo-Katan & his former clan which they all would probably argue over there differences and be united.

You’re right, I hope we finally get to see Grogu in Mandalorean season 3.

I found it interesting that the amourer first called the child a Jedi then wanted to know what to forge for the 'foundling Grogu'! It took two sentences to create a foundling in her mind again. Hmm....
I think we will get a scene in the far future of boba riding a full grown rancor helping Din as he rides a misosuar

This is just Canderous Ordo all over again... Which, I'm not complaining about. That was a dope side story, for sure. Can't wait for season 3.
This is the way!
So in order to manage the dark saber, din jarin needs to receive jedi training by/together with grogu
I agree 100% that this is the direction of season 3 of Mando. This is the Way
The Armorer is Asaaj Ventress. This was confirmed last year in High Republic Legends issue #3 during her battle with Saji Cyz.
Wouldn’t High Republic Legends be pre-Disney lore around 200 BBY?
A way the writers can explain their way out of the “heavy” dark saber…the blade’s crystal was mined from the waters on Mandalor. It needs to be returned to the waters to balance the Force within it. Thus redeeming both Mando and the Blade, baptizing the new era of Mandalor. 💥
That sounds like a great way to write it, they could toss in some Jedi training in Mando season 3 when he sees Grogo and maybe we see Din join Boba Fetts clan seeing as the armour kicked him out of the clan. Then we could see the two clans duke it out for control.
@@shadowwalking4917 din won't join boba, they'll keep the two separated and join them up for team ups and such, Din actively wants to join his creed again, instead of joining bobas crime ring. He respects boba and will work with him, but I think Din is being set up for a much larger role in the return of mandalore. Very exciting stuff coming I think
Maybe they will all team up in a few more shows with people like thrawn and Ezra to deafet the grysks or crimson dawn
Here's a question: we all know ALL Mandalorians have general feelings about a very specific saber, but unlike most Mandalorians Boba has a VERY SPECIFIC feel about ANY SABER.
How's HE going to feel when Din lights up in front of him with that thing?
another thought for you to ponder. no one knows who the armoror is. she knows a lot and holds the dark sabre like she knows it. also goes on to "train the mandalorian a bit.
I like it! You're probably right!
Something I haven't seen discussed anywhere is the potential for Din to be not only the next Mandalor, but the next Tar Visla. He is both everything you'd expect from a mandalorian and nothing you'd expect. He's a smart, loyal, top tier warrior. Yet he hasn't shown any desire for glory, he's quick to take the peaceful solution (if reasonably possible), and he's not vengeful, all qualities of a Jedi. Then there's the beggars canyon scene. In TPM Qui-gon said only a force sensitive human has the reflexes for pod racing. The N1 is wicked fast stock and with his upgrades its more than fair to say he was going just as fast (if not faster) through Beggars canyon as Anakin was. Not to mention that an incredibly fast, highly maneuverable, and lightly armed ship is not at all a well suited ship for a Mandalorian but it is absolutely perfect for a Jedi. We are going to see Luke again, and I'm nearly certain that they're going to train with the darksaber and talk about the force. That could open the door for Luke to train him in the future (specifically Luke because he's the only one that would be willing)
Despite being longtime enemies and having opposite codes Mandalorians and Jedi (now more than ever because of the empire) are very similar in many ways. Someone who is able to find a balance between the two may be able to bring them together as allies.
I'm not married to the idea, I'd be perfectly content with Din not being force sensitive. Theres definitely value in having Star Wars content focused on non force sensitive characters. I just think it could be a great way to explore Mandalorian culture, the force, and the history between Mandalorians and the Jedi. Maybe even have Din usher in a new age of Mandalor that does what Satine wanted to do while staying true to their traditions and culture. "If you're not capable of violence you're not peaceful, you're harmless"
Din cannot be a Jedi - period. First. He isn't force sensitive. Second, even if he somehow became force sensitive, he is far too old to be trained as a Jedi.
@@JoeShmoism First, we don't know that. A lack of confirmation for one isn't confirmation of the other. Second, you don't become force sensitive you just are or you aren't, there are force sensitive people throughout the galaxy who will never know. Third, he's not too old, Luke was an adult when he was trained, and Leia will be. He's younger than Grogu (admittedly if age was a problem Grogu would be a special case) I don't like the sequel trilogy but Rey as well. The age restriction was a fairly recent rule (in terms of total history of the Jedi). Born out of fear and was one of the many problems that caused its downfall.
@@715samiam I agree you can't become force sensitive. That was the whole point of the experiments Moff Gideon was running with Grogu's blood. He was trying to create force sensitive troopers. It didn't work.
While Din is clearly an exceptional warrior, trained from his youth, He has shown zero signs of being force sensitive up to this point. To have him suddenly become force sensitive would screw up his story arc.
The age restrictions on when you can start training is as old as the Jedi order. Although there have been exceptions.
There are more then 1 kind of Jedi. Healers, diplomats, administrators, warriors. Lea began her training as a diplomat as a child. We can assume that Obi Wan began Luke's training as a warrior when he was a child.
In any case Luke and Lea could both be exceptions to the age restrictions being they are Anakin's children. Even if they aren't exceptions their training was certainly not traditional.
Also, Mando fights against the dark saber and is conflicted....not because he's not heroic or powerful or whatever enough...it's because he misses his little green progeny. The helmet disguised his face but the little green rodian kid on the commercial space flight tugged his little Mando heart for grogu
I believe that the Armorer has sent Din on a journey that will change and create a new way for Mandalorian's. I just wonder if Grogu will join escaping Anikin.
4:12 the shadow almost looks like godzilla
Really wish we saw darth Vader walking through the rubble killing mandaloriens
The Armorer told him he wasn't a Mandalorian anymore. Maybe that is because he is now the MANDALOR instead.
Interesting thought.
I recon season 4 should be about the unification of mandalorians and season 3 the hate and feuds between those who stuck with Bo Katan and those who prefer/ want the armourer to be their new teacher.
Bo: You're not a Mandalorian, you're a clone.
Din: You're not a Mandalorian, you took off your helmet.
Mandalore the Ultimate: I don't care if you were born on Mandalore to the most powerful clan or some Jawa from a scrapyard in Tatooine, if you follow me in battle you are Mandalorian.
The armorer also speaks of the rise of the Mythosaur, and well, there is one Mandalorian we know, who has that sigil on his armor. Boba Fett. So I wonder, if Boba and Din need to come to blows, in the next episodes of the book of Boba Fett, for Fett to gain the Darksaber and a much greater purpose.
If they go the Legends route and have Fett become Mandalore, I think Din will be defeated by someone, but will survive and lose the saber. Whoever that is will be defeated by Fett rightfully giving him the saber, and this will unify the Mandalorians as The Children of the Watch will follow because he'll win it in battle, Bo-Katan's group will follow because he is Jango's clone and his family blood claim will be stronger than hers.
@@SnowWolf9999 I like your idea, though Bo Katan made it clear she despised him, in Season 2. I'd like to see your story come true, though. :)
Don't forget to mention that Sabine helped make those bombs. I'm a 37 year old man I cried like a girl when I realized those were her bombs killing her people
maybe the mines of mandalore are force related like dagaboh and he will see the ghost of tar vizila and it will be great way of introducing such a character and din djarin will unite all mandalorians since his time and i also believe mandalore is occupied by thrawn as his base and mandalorian will fight tharwn in an epic battle and i also believe luke is in yavin 4 like in legends
Dude.. episode 5 was literally so good!
I like the idea Din will become a Jedi and Mandalorian, like Tar Vizsla and unite the Mandalorian clans/houses under one unified leadership. Hopefully leading them into supporting the New Republic against Thrawn and a resurgent Empire. It would be awesome to see the Mandalorians as the New Republics Special Forces as they do have a whopper of a grudge against the Empire 😁
If they were going to make Din a jedi, then there would've been some foreshadowing to it.
@@Ryan.2 there kinda is, in the finale of BoBF I remember in the cantina with boba and din, a robot walks in, no sound or anything, he immediately points his blaster to it even though hes the furthest away from the entrance and was even looking the other direction, bot to mention jedi like reflexes and when he rides that one animal in the first season inf the mandalorian it was almost like when grogu “spoke” to the rancor
Yeah i agree
Armorer is Rook Kast
Awesome video bud
I'll miss the spear. It was really cool imho.
(Also it's strange how a sophisticated energy blade can't penetrate beskar (or it takes a long time to do so) but a spear made of beskar could. I mean that's not how it works irl. You can't simply puncture a platebody with a steel spear.)
I think Mando is going to forgo being a bounty hunter and help fight to restore Mandalore.
That would also explain the lack of cargo room in his ship for bounties.
Plot twist: who ever does become Mandalor just tosses the dark saber like Luke in The Last Jedi
I have a feeling that the mines that he needs I do the test to get back into the Mandalorian will be found to not all be distoryied
I have an odd feeling we won't even see Mando in this weeks episode. He will show up in the finale to help Boba along with whoever else they hire and the first episode of The Mandalorian season 3 will either show us right away what happened when he went to give Grogu his gift. Or if Grogu isn't travelling with him next season maybe it would be a mid season episode having Mando visit giving his gift and seeing what Luke and friends are up to setting up far bigger crossovers for the next big movies.
Best episode! Turn tables and added a lot of possible paths to series! *This is Star Wars!*
Since rebels it was obvious that the future of Star wars was thrawn and mandalorians.
The moment the Moff popped out of that TIE fighter with the dark saber it should have been obvious that this was going to be a mandalorian reunification story.
I think Din is on a journey and will not be able to properly wield the dark Saber until he has come to grips with his identity as a Mandalorean. I also suspect he will find a way to complete the ceremony the Armorer described as part of that journey.
Sabine is going to be the one to teach him.
We got it because we need to know his update since season 2 and since we would had to wait late 2022 for season 3.
By opening up the mines Din allows all Mandalore to be reunited, so no matter the tribe, it all good in the waters!
Season 3 finale: Bo-Katan and the Armorer get into a viscous fight, Din goes to break them up with the Darksaber and accidentally slices the Armorer’s helmet, causing it to fall off. Nobody knows how to react to that. They share some spatchka and get over their differences and give a promising and united future to all Mandalorians 🥰
Imagine if mando have to beat a mythosaure in the mandalore’s mines to be a mandalorian again. Btw I know that mythosaures are no more and I don’t know if a such thing can happen (I don’t reed any comics and I didn’t watch full clone wars and rebels)
Bo Katan vs Armourer sounds good
that episode gave me Mando season 1 vibes for sure
Dark Saber will return to a force sensitive Mandalorian. Though it will be a foundling and be Grogu. As it was forged by one, so now in their darkest hour, another 'Jedi' Mandalorian to lead them.
I wanna see din djarin become the leader who unites and leads the mandalorians to a better future. The idea of a mandalorian who was called "no longer a mandalorian" rising to lead them is poet in the most powerful way to me.
Moves towards reunification of Mandalore are in order. With the Empire defeated and only remnants remaining, a unified Mandalore could be undertaken. Thrawn is a big question mark - how many years away? The First order becomes rumor about 21 ABY and reality about 29 ABY. The Yuuzong Vonn show up around 25 ABY and Boba leads Mandalore to victory and prosperity with a new vein of Beskar being found. So Din Djarin has roughly 13-15 years (from now - 10 ABY to 23 or 25 ABY and Boba's reign in Legend) to pull Mandalore together and make some progress. Both Bo Katan and Rook Kast (the Armorer) have way too much baggage from their respective pasts as old women...Death Watch, Super Commandos , Nite Owls, etc., etc., etc. Din Djarin is new blood. As a force-sensitive (former Whill) Mandalorian, he can bring both unity and peace for the people and the planet and give both the opportunity to heal, renew, grow, and prosper. Germany and Japan did it...so can Mandalore.
