DIY Paper Marbling | Paper Water Marbling (Ebru) Craft Kit Review

- In today's video I'm creating some DIY paper marbling, by testing out a paper water marbling (Ebru) craft kit for kids! As a whole I actually really enjoyed water marbling the paper, and I think Ebru art is a really fun activity, however this paper water marbling craft kit was a little underwhelming. It was fine for what it was, and it definitely wasn't budget breaking, so I guess it's decent for people or kids wanting to try paper water marbling for the first time. I think there would definitely be some way better Ebru art kits available, that would give way better paper water marbling results, and probably incorporate some different techniques too. But let me know what your thoughts were on this little paper water marbling craft kit, and if you have any other craft ideas, or craft kits that you want me to try on the channel, then feel free to leave your suggestions in the comments below!

This was really fun! I did something with my kids one year, which I enjoyed much more than they did. I put a couple sheets of white card stock on baking trays. We dripped food coloring randomly over the paper. Set the trays out in the rain for awhile. Brought the trays in, let everything dry and had the most awesome looking colored paper. Thank you for all your hard work on these videos every week and I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

I’ve done two classes in Ebru recently and it’s so addictive! We put our designs on paper to start with and then leather and ceramics.
The thin pieces of paper were probably to clean your tray after you print off your design. The remaining ink just comes off. It might take two or three tries but the tray will look more or less clean. It was a pretty good kit really, just a shame it takes so long to make up the goo. I guess your teacher made it up the day before so your 6 year old self could jump right in! ❤

I like to do arty stuff with my grandchildren but I tend to avoid kits. I look up what I need and if I can afford, or when I can afford it, I buy the 'needful' things!
I've watched loads of marbling videos and not one has ever said about waiting 6 hours, they generally just shoot off and do it!
Great video as per .. But My god Ant, I damn near choked (I was actually drinking my cuppa at that point) when you did that mouth enlarged and stretched - I just wanted to laugh hard at that for some reason, but I couldn't because I already had my cuppa in my god.. Cheers man 😑🤣

What kid wants to wait hours after they get a new kit! I don’t know why but with the title I was expecting painting with marbles silly brain! I remember now doing it at school on paper to cover our books in.

For quick, try shaving foam and paints/inks. Hmmm. That's a thought. I wonder what would happen if you added the inks to shaving cream. With this technique, the top layers of ink don't seem to mix with lower levels of ink. Would there be a difference?

Have you ever made the growing your own crystal set for kids. My niece has a set from Christmas and I’m the one they call on for crafty bits. lol I remember making the Rock Candy in school but that took days, and it’s been a very very long time since I was in school.🤪

mi me mi mee meh. . Sorry I am loosing my marbles. The violet and black ink might have a different density hence why they sink deeper than the others.
