Mahalya means its time to take the Devi Durga to the Pandals or House from Artist's Studio. In this video we were been able to capture the Idol being taken to their Puja mandap by the members of Pathriaghat 5er Palli Puja committee. Huge Durga Pratima & with all entusiasm members reached Artist's Studio to take delivery of Durga thakur which Artist Sonaton Paul has made for them very meticulously for last two months. His other studio is at astone throw distance from his workshop at Kumartuli. Its nice to watch the Labors deployed to embark & disembark the weighty Pratima from the Studio to Pandal. Side by side the members also arrived with Dhakis to welcome the Durga Pratima after one year again to their Puja Mandop. One little girl with the make up of Devi Durga was the main attraction of this event. After that we captured some beautiful Durga Pratima there. Next we move to Kumartuli where fanatic rush for snapping photos & videos by the visitors & this is Pre puja Kumartuli hopping. Here we saw a glimpse of huge Murti being taken by the labor force with their chorous chanting. We are now in the Pitri paksha. On Mahalaya Day after we offer our homage to our ancestors Devi Paksha will commence. Thus Durga Puja for 2023 is going to commence.
