Loved the idea of Ray Stevenson as Agent Franks. Lol. Alexandra Daddario as Julie is a must. The more I think about it the more I see Alan Tudyk as a perfect Milo as well. And I genuinely believe that Kaley Cuoco could actually pull off an amazing snarky, kick ass yet vulnerable Holly Newcastle. Loving alotbof these suggestions and others in the comments also work for me.
I would go with Hugh Jackman for Earl and Sam Elliot as Ray (The Boss) Shackelford. Dolph Lundgren as Franks. Tim Kang as Albert Lee. Find a different Marty Hood.
Marty Hood was pretty much described as Jason Statham in the book. Rugged good looks, tall, Cockney accent ect. Dolph Lundgren is to old and out of shape now, 1990's Dolph would have been perfect. I like the Sam Elliott for "The Boss" idea, and any Asian badass would fit Lee, he was just the first I thought of. However, I will not part with Matthew McConaughey as Earl. I also wish Tyrus was younger

Kurt Russel and Nick offerman are the only two that I cant see as those characters. clint Eastwood would be my pick for Boss Shackelford. He can just pull of the grizzled Vet so well.

I agree with 90% of these cast but I strongly believe that the role of Z should b given to someone no one has ever heard of........the 1 person I can think of is that guy that play the son Drago in Creed 2.......hes big n strong looking

Who gives a hoot about bra padding? Pad away but the toughness doesn't wash off after the filming! A great person to fill the fictional character with REAL toughness.
If anyone in Hollywood had a brain, they would know that a movie series based on the MHI books would sell.
