- If you frequent streams you know EXACTLY why this video was made, if not then... oh well, in this video I go over how strong Sonic is within the video game canon I give multiple interpretations of his strength and at some points leave it up to you and how you interpret them to come to a conclusion on what they mean.

you forgot some major scalings when it came to bosses. you forgot to mention the rush games and how powerful those bosses were as well, and they were gonna merge the 2 dimensons together with the emeralds, which indicates that super sonic could probably do the same since said bosses were powered by the emeralds before sonic and blaze took them and transformed. theres alot of evidence that not only does super sonic scale 5d power wise but also as a 5d reality warper.

A lot of people forget that he’s pretty good with manipulating chaos energy just because shadow is known for it
Sonic should be more experienced with chaos energy than Shadow due to him using the super form way more than Shadow has. But really, Knuckles would make the most sense in him being more experienced with chaos energy due to him always guarding and being around the Master Emerald.
My headcanon is that he experienced Chaos Energy all the canonical times he went Super Sonic before Adventure 2

@@phantom-X2086 Shadow has more experience with Chaos Energy. And I feel like that's very obvious. Shadow has Access to chaos energy 24/7 and is literally imbued with it. While sonic only used chaos energy when near the end of the game. Maybe in-game, Sonic might have more experience in chaos energy but It's most likely that shadow has used chaos energy numerous times off screen that we don't know about. He's far more skilled with it, came up with techniques such as Chaos spear, Chaos Rift, and Chaos Blast. And has access to them at all times.
I'd definitely say shadow has more experience with Chaos power considering their apart of his arsenal and his very being; always.

I think something that was skipped out in Secret Rings was the fact that Erazor Djinn had actually absorbed the individual universes within the Arabian Nights. Halfway through the game, it's mentioned that Djinn had absorbed 101 of the 1000 Worlds Arabian Nights. These worlds were universes in size and Erazor had absorbed them, enhancing his power. Sonic was able to molly wop Djinn. This is a Low Multiversal Level feat in base alone.

@@marcxworld5708 This also isn't the only feat he has in the game. At the end of the game, when Sonic needs to return to his own home dimension, he isn't wished back. It was said that he "ran endlessly" until he returned home. That's insane, that he can run fast enough to travel through dimensions.
@@marcxworld5708 I think Low Multiversal Level seems to be a good estimate to keep things simple. Even I think Multiversal Level + is a high ball. I say this because not even Super Sonic is Hyperversal Level.

Friendly reminder that Darkspine Sonic was an incomplete transformation yet was able to launch Alf Layla wa Layla’s creation orbs back at him and reverted his reality warping after beating him, with only the peripheral power of three of the seven rings while the boss had all seven.

Sonic getting stronger overtime makes sense. He could solo perfect chaos without his superform unlike adventures.
Also, he was able to take a hit from the time eater(which destroys time) and was just fine, then goes on to beat shadow and silver in battles.
In lost world he needed a charged homing attack to damage Zavok. In forces he doesnt, and just beats him and then finishes him with just the hands.
Infinite whooped sonics ass the 1st time they fought. We see silver basically get 1 shot in the forest but sonic after being trapped for months, on a mission with the rookie, and then running through the jungle saves him and forces infinite to run away. Mind u Sonic has done all this with little to NO rest.
Keep in mind hes only 17 at the most. The rate of growth from mans is NUTTY

I think eggman might be one of the most dangerous normal human in video game history even though he does not directly fight Sonic like with his fist or something he is still able to make crazy machines like metal Sonic and the death egg robot that can and there's the fact that his technology keeps getting better because Sonic keeps getting stronger and eggman is still able to make versions of metal Sonic that can fight Sonic so yeah even though eggman doesn't fight directly he is still quite the ridiculously powerful character himself I honestly think he deserves his own video maybe if this comment gets enough likes six will make an eggman video.

not to mention that in unleashed, eggman made a machine that was able to RESTRAIN super sonic, like, he couldn't move. and we already established how strong super sonic is. that's an insane feat
The fact that eggman can make machines that can fight Sonic who keeps getting stronger is crazy I think eggman might be one of the strongest normal humans that I know of in fiction I think there are a lot of series that eggman could solo if you just give him enough time despite the fact he can't really fight all that well by himself without his machines because even if his most recent machines aren't powerful enough to solo that series he can just make a stronger machine until he eventually makes one strong enough for him to win so yeah I think eggman is unironically a very powerful character to use in versus battles if he has enough prep time it's crazy it's like eggman is like what people think Batman can do with prep time except he can actually do it.
Eggman is the smartest human in the sonic world, I'm not sure if he's the strongest human since I don't think super humans exist in the sonic universe like the super powered animals.
Also remember that Eggman was smart enough to find a way of of White Space because he's present in the following games.

@@udonnauchegbu2018 eggman is very very good at using and gaining resources I think there are a lot of series where if you put eggman in that world and he wants to take it over even if he starts with nothing eggman would probably rapidly learn how to use the various resources and power system of the series and implement them into his machines like how metal Sonic can use the chaos emeralds and if no one in that world can stop him in time he could hypothetically build army made up of metal versions of some of the strongest characters in that series like how he can make metal Sonic and given enough time is capable of upgrading metal Sonic and making multiple of them. So in short eggman has some of the most ridiculous prep time of any character I have ever heard.

I would like to add that Sonic is so fast that he looked at Shadow mid warp in Sonic Adventure 2. He literally looked at Shadow in slow motion then said “Wow he’s fast . It’s not his speed he must be using the chaos emerald to warp”. Mind you that warping is actually faster than teleportation. 😅

Sonic could easily stack up to Multiversal if we include statements from Sonic Shuffle, in that game there's a realm called "Maginaryworld" which contains countless of universe-sized dream worlds, so if Solaris was gonna consume all existing timelines and dimensions, it would also include Maginaryworld, which pretty much makes him a Multiversal threat as well.

The Super Emeralds are the closest example we have. The limiting factor is mostly the ability to control that power and the Super Emeralds are better "conductors" than the Chaos Emeralds

That's actually quite powerful if you dig deeper about it, that means Sonic's positive energy alone is enough to power the Emeralds.
I'm pretty sure the Emeralds (both Chaos and Sol) being powered by friendship has nothing to do with the power of friendship, but just an inherent part of the Emeralds themselves, it's stated several times that the Chaos Emeralds have both positive and negative power, and Perfect Chaos used the negative, while Super Sonic used the positive.
I like the more random character scaling. Ofc I love ur main focus but it’s cool to see scaling as a skill across different universes and I think for the newer people who watch you, it’ll give you more credibility with the fact you can do it across things other than anime

@@onizukasensei5321 well this would put these titans on a higher level than infinite and many other threats in the series, seeing how we know sonic will get stronger throughout the game, I can see some good scaling and feats. I think eggman stated in a cutscene that cyberspace was not only infinite but far beyond any dimensional structure he's analyze. (Not a direct quote) and sage who has power over cyberspace couldn't figure out how sonic escaped it when tails, Amy, or knuckles couldn't. So in theory there's a good feat that right there

Nice video but I'll like to add my take on it with a comment I used a while back saying sonic is outerversal.
Solaris was stated to be a super dimensional being (isn't bounded by the border of dimensions meaning he scales above it), that transcends time and space and was planning on destroying the entirety of sonic which was stated to be infinite within infinite multiverses inside each other by Ian flynn. Archie sonic is canon because not only did sega partner with the archie comics but they also never said it wasn't canon, more proof of this is when solaris actually appeared in the archie sonic comics and was confirmed by Ian Flynn that the same solaris seen in the archie comics was the same from the game sonic verse, meaning he was indeed gonna destroy the infinite timelines, infinite multiverses within infinite multiverses, infinite possibilities, etc... If you don't think he's outerversal well lets use the definition of outerversal which is basically being above the concepts of dimensions, space and time, plots of other stories they appear in, effecting infinite things on at least an Aleph-1 scale. Solaris already fits half of requirements just missing the time and space stuff, well not only is he the God of time and is passed the borderlines of dimensions but using translations concept means "An abstract idea" and transcend means, "Be or go beyond the range or limits of (something ABSTRACT), there you go solaris is outerversal, super sonic beats him putting his super form above him, in sonic forces sonic defeats infinite in their 2nd battle who is stated by sega themselves that he is the strongest enemy sonic has ever faced which yes includes solaris, like I said earlier sonic bested him in their 2nd encounter while in base form, infinite asks how tf he beat him but sonic says he gets stronger every second which sonic in base form beats solaris which required 3 super form hedgehogs who eggman thought it wasn't enough, super forms has infinite powerr stated multiple times and 1 chaos emerald has infinite power, this isn't even his best feat, his best feat is when sonic beasts eggman at the end of the game who was stronger than infinite and again in base form sonic beats him, he may have had "help" but lets be real sonic was literally carrying the other because classic isn't as fast or strong as modern sonic and you honestly think your cac is stronger sonic himself? Lol nah but anyways yea all this would scale sonic in the outerversal category.
Also wanted to add that knuckles technically has immeasurable strength because he punched sonic out of his super form which 1 chaos emerald has infinite power so just imagine all 7, and it was confirmed that sonics speed is that to knuckles strength and sonic has immeasurable speed because he moved in the white limbo where time and space doesn't exist (sonic generations), and ran from the past and future in sonic CD (The post signs indicate where the player is heading, you dont just hit the sign and immediately go to the future or the past, you need speed to do it)

So fun fact about time eater most people missed. He was able to bring back the events of Sonic 06 which was retconned from existence. All the events that happened in that game should have ceased to exist when they blew out Solaris' primordial form.
classic sonic is still part of the main timeline hence why the time travel in generations causes classic to attempt to learn homing attacking but made the drop dash and also explains why sonic suddenly knows drop dash in frontiers

A small correction: all of the characters with the exception of sonic, forgot about the events of sonic 06. so any statemant of infinite or other characters being the strongest one, doesn't include solares, at best, infinite would be stronger than time eater. but i believe infinite is weaker than time eater, but more powerful in hax, and that's probably what eggman was refering to. there's also other multiversal level enemies that sonic fought, like egg salamander, which was capable of destroying both sonic and blaze universe. so there is no doubt that super sonic is in at least a low multiversal scale.
Except the ppI who sais infinite was the strongest was...SEGA themselves. So unless SEGA forgot about 06, i dont think it matters.

Well technically you can say chaos control was used in the solaris fight as seen in SA2 super sonic and super shadow can still use chaos energy without the emeralds being present because they now embody chaos energy rather than use the emerald itself
I honestly think you can get base sonic to immeasurable speed in sonic generations since he was restoring time and space to the voids that the time eater created when he shredded the time and space as well as life and colour in these zones
Sonic just restored all these zones with his speed just by running
Tails even states he's accelerating through time
I don't use that feat from Generations, I use the fact he escaped from Null Space which Is an infinite Dimension to put him at Infinite Speed.

Sonic is basically an anthropomorphic animal version of Goku so he's just as strong as Goku, I'd say.
Sonic is 5D, while main timeline Goku is 8D (at least at the start of Super.) Dragon Ball's universe 7 is much greater than our own. And then you have to take in consideration that there are realms within universe 7 alone that are infinite in size. The hyperbolic time chamber, heaven, hell, the land of the Kais, the universe it's self being infinite, and infinitely expanding. And when Super Perfect Cell said that he was going to destroy the solar system, all the way back in Z, it meant way more than what you would think. 1 singular solar system in the Dragon Ball macrocosm is comprised of multiple solar systems within it. So 1 solar system in the Dragon Ball macrocosm is equal to a star cluster. So it isn't a solar system like ours, it's way greater.

Goku almost destroyed all of universe 7 on accident, just by clashing fists with Beerus. And that was at the start of Super. Compare all of that to Goku in the current manga, and how much stronger he has become since beginning of Super.
This Sonic ain't touching the weakest form of Goku, which is main timeline Goku.

I would agree because I only feel Mario caps around galaxy level.(Not including paper Mario feats and scaling) I don’t know about the Multiversal Erazor Djinn stuff, but it should at least make him around half universal if he absorbed half of the Arabian nights.
Try looking at this battle from a dragon ball perspective. Which character is overall a better fighter and has the skills to push through the opponent. White toonoki is a cheat code for the player and a rainbow star lasts 10 seconds.

I don’t really remember forces super well but the custom hero did have a ruby prototype which cancelled out the sun attack, so it’s possible that is the reason sonic and custom hero defeated infinite together

Teamwork =/= power of friendship. Eggman, Metal Sonic and Zavok are a team but they aren't friends even in Sonic Forces they tag teamed Sonic and manage to put some hurt on him. Same with Eggman teaming up with Sonic in past games to stop a greater threat.
Forces was comparing the traits of a person of what they have. Sonic bonds with his friends throughout his adventure and forms friendship out the way cause the trust each other not a legit power being used while Infinite is a person who relies on virtual reality beings who are mindless clones. Its better to to have someone you trust and has your back instead of a lackey anf leech who feeds off you for your own gain.
Also the teamwork is them combining their power and hyping each other up to stop him due never giving up
Infinite wasn't weakened in that fight his energy was restored after the Avatar joined the fight with Sonic in Eggman Empire Fortess. All his energy back. There is no evidence he was weakened in the second fight it was ego that got the best of him that let Sonic live. Eggman had back generators in Metropolis so he wasn't weakened only when he used the Sun after using up that energy to create null space from Death Egg and Metropolis.
Infinite isn't truly the strongest. Super Sonic was able to beat people amped the Phantom Ruby simultaneously. Infinite had the protopype phantom ruby not the original so he he may be one of Eggman's strongest creation but inst above the universal or multiversal tiers. Infinite was just hyped to attract people to play the game.

Well while he doesn't have the real ruby he atleast could scale to the ruby feats from mania with the likes of null space. Also the fact the ruby was able to hurt classic super sonic while time eater couldn't put a dent in him. Add to the fact eggman never actually had any control over Solaris would mean eggman statements of infinite being he's most powerful thing he created after all the failures would not really apply to Solaris as even eggman saw Solaris as unstoppable, buuuut he did have control over the time eater, egg wizard and the other mech in rush. So if we take eggman statements seriously, scale infinite to mania ruby feats as we know eggman using the ruby in forces was him pushing it to the limit and obvious promotions. Infinite does somewhat have a argument of being sonic strongest threat not counting Solaris, which as crazy of a jump that is, it's also not the craziest as in the 3ds version of generations sonic did manage to fight off time eater briefly on base which can be backed up with the fact erazor from secret rings absorbed half of the pages before he fought sonic and the manual states that each page is a universe. This is shockingly got some decent evidence behind it all.

Infinite being the strongest isn't really true as Ian Flynn stated it was marketing trait to get fans to play the game also the fact that the prototype wasn't the real PHR that Infinite had.
