I want to share my personal experience here. A few years ago there was a matter for which I constantly prayed salatul istekhara followed by the dua told by prophet saww. My heart didn’t change, i still felt the same towards that thing but obstacles started appearing in it, increasing in severity, some other signs appeared too which at that time I could not understand or even see as signs because I kept thinking my heart still feels the same. I didn’t stop doing istekhara though, and ultimately Allah did put me in a place where I myself said No to it with a very heavy heart, I distanced myself from it and at that time it hurt me a lot but now looking back I am eternally grateful to Allah for making me do so ✨

@@Haw271 i offered 2 nafar hajat istekhara, phir salam k badh I recited the dua three times aur jis jagah “hazal amra” aata hai dua may that is where you ask your question. For example if you want to marry someone you would say “Ya Allah I want to marry ____ (their full name)”. Repeat this same sentence at the second place hazal amra appears, do not say should I do it or not. Recite the dua as many times as you want.

«سلسلة الآثار الضعيفة» (حدیث استخارہ)
جابر بن عبد اللہ سے روایت ہے: رسول اللہ ہمیں تمام معاملات میں استخارہ کرنا ایسے سکھاتے تھے جیسے قرآن کی سورۃ سکھایا کرتے تھے، کہتے تھے: "جب بھی تمہیں کوئی اہم معاملہ پیش آئے تو فرض کے علاوہ دو رکعتیں پڑھو پھر یہ دعا پڑھو: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ، الخ"{البخاري: ١١٧٢}
=> یہ روایت غریب ہے جسے صرف عبد الرحمان بن ابی الموال مدنی نے محمد بن المنکدر سے، انہوں نے جابر بن عبد اللہ سے روایت کیا ہے۔
=> اس روایت کے بارے میں:
۱۔ احمد بن حنبل سے مروی ہے:"عبد الرحمان بن ابی الموال مدنی نے محمد بن المنکدر سے استخارہ کی روایت نقل کی ہے جسے اس کے سوا کسی نے نقل نہیں کیا، اور یہ روایت منکَر ہے، اس لیے کہ اہل مدینہ جب حدیث میں غلط ہوتے ہیں تو روایت کو ابن المنکدر عن جابر کہہ کر روایت کر دیتے ہیں"{الكامل: ١٦١٦/٤}
۲۔ ایک جگہ احمد بن حنبل سے مروی ہے:" عبد الرحمان بن ابی الموال جابر بن عبد اللہؓ سے حدیث استخارہ روایت کرنے میں منفرد ہے، (راوی نے کہا) گویا کہ احمد نے اسے ضعیف قرار دیا"{مسائل حرب: ٢٢٣٤}
۳۔ عبد الرحمان بن ابی الموال کی بیان کردہ ایک اور روایت کو ابو زرعة الرازی نے غلط قرار دیا اور بتایا کہ یہ روایت مرسل(یعنی رسول اللہ سے ثابت نہیں) تھی جسے اس نے مسند(یعنی رسول اللہﷺ سے ثابت) بنا دیا۔ {ميزان: ٥٩٤/٢}
۴۔ ابو حاتم الرازی سے مروی ہے:"عبد الرحمان بن ابی الموال سے بہتر تو میرے نزدیک یحیی بن ایوب ہے"۔اور یحیی بن ایوب وہ ہے جس کے بارے میں ابو حاتم رازی نے کہا:"اس کی حدیث لکھی جائے گی لیکن اس کی حدیث سے دلیل نہیں لی جائے گی"{الجرح والتعديل: ١٢٨/٩}
=> یعنی ابو حاتم الرازی کے نزدیک عبد الرحمان بن ابی الموال کی بیان کردہ حدیث سے دلیل لینا تو دور لکھی بھی نہ جائے کیوں کہ وہ یحیی بن ایوب سے بھی گیا گزرا ہے کہ جس کی حدیث لکھی جا سکتی ہے۔
۵۔ ابن حبان سے بھی مروی ہےکہ وہ اسے غلطیاں کرنے والا بتاتے تھے {تهذيب الكمال:٤٤٨/١٧}
٦۔ ابن حجر نے کہا:" سچا ہے مگر غلطی کرتا ہے"{التقريب: ٥٠٠/١}
=> بعض محدثین سے اسے ثقہ قرار دینا بھی مروی ہے لیکن درج بالا کلام سے ثابت ہوتا ہے کہ وہ اگر کسی روایت کو بیان کرنے میں اکیلا ہے تو قابل حجت نہیں ہے اور حدیث استخارہ کو بیان کرنے میں وہ اکیلا ہے اس لیے حدیث استخارہ قابل حجت نہیں ہے۔
=> استخارہ کی حدیث کے کچھ شواہد بھی ہیں لیکن وہ اس سے بھی گئے گذرے ہیں۔
=> حدیث استخارہ کا منکَر ہونا تو واضح ہی ہے کہ اگر رسول اللہ اسے قرآن کی طرح صحابہ کو سکھایا کرتے تو اس طرح غریب روایت سے مروی نہ ہوتا بلکہ کسی حدیث و اثر میں بھی اس پر عمل کا کوئی ثبوت نہیں ملتا۔
=> لہذا اصول حدیث کے مطابق استخارہ کی حدیث منکَر و سخت ضعیف ہے اور اسے روایت کرنا والا عبد الرحمان بھی ضعیف ہے۔
=> یہاں علم میں یہ مخفی نہ رہے کہ مسلمانوں میں استخارہ مختلف شعبہ جات میں مستعمل ہے:
۱۔ شادی کے معاملات میں استخارہ لڑکے اور لڑکی کی "کنڈلی" ملانے کے لیے استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔ اور اس تماشے میں ایک مولوی "پنڈت" کا کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔
لڑکے اور لڑکی کی مائیں تو استخارے سے خیر کثیر حاصل کر رہی ہیں کہ جب بھی رشتے سے انکار کرنا ہو تو "استخارے میں نام نہیں آیا" کی پھبتی کس کر جان چھڑا لیتی ہیں۔
گویا کہ استخارہ نہ ہوا اللہ کی طرف سے وحی ہو گئی کہ ناموں کی وضاحت بھی ہو۔
۲۔ گھر میں کوئی چیز گم ہو جائے تو استخارہ "علم المؤکل" کا کام کرتا ہے جس سے بہو پر چوری ثابت کی جاتی ہے۔
۳۔ کسی کام کے کرنے یا ترک کرنے سے قبل استخارہ بطور "فال" استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔
پس استخارہ کے ساتھ "شرعی" لگا کر ایسی کئی دکانیں چمک رہی ہیں اور مفادات کا حصول بھی ہو رہا ہے۔ اور:
"روایت حدیث ہر فرقہ بلکہ ہر نفس کی تسکین کا سامان بہم پہنچا رہی ہیں"

Firstly fa'al kholna is totally bida'a & inn9vation in deen. Our deen is perfect. Alhamdulillaah. Also, can you share some saheeh hadeeth based evidence in support of all that you are doing? It may be too much of a coincidence that you are finding solutions to your life's struggles by randomly opening some page & reading an ayah & its translation or commentary. But is this way kind of random act of relieving oneself legislated in the deen through authentic ahadeeth? No sister, that's not the right approach. Instead its better to daily read Quran & ponder over its meaning. For daily l8fe problems there are special duas found in "hisnul muslim" book & 40 Rabbana quranic duas & we can make dua in sujood & in the last tashhshhud between durood & tasleem in our daily salah be they fard, sunnah or nawafil. In sha Allah. Also we can make dua in our own language but always maintain the balance by asking khaiyr of both the worlds - duniya & more importantly eternal akhirah. Baarak Allaah feeki
