I think this is a good message but if you are going to give advice on something like this, it would be really beneficial to explain what they can do as well.
As a stylist I always tell my clients that heat protectant is a helpful tool to use. Also heat settings depend on hair type. Someone with thin fine hair doesn’t need 400+ heat, no one really does but I always suggest starting out in the low 200’s and do one single pass at a moderate pace and slowly adjusting the heat if it’s not doing much. Using the proper tools is also a key factor. Size, temperature settings, plate type, and benefits are always something worth looking into and even comparing when looking for hot tools.
