Jaejun and his biological daughter are both Red-Green colorblind, it's the most common kind of colorblindness. Thats why she has trouble discerning the GREEN heels her mom wears. Also in regards to the traffic lights, the order of the lights matters as well as the color, so red-green color blind people can still tell if it’s “stop” or “go” by the order, and Ye-sol probably knew how to cross the street, she was waiting for her Nanny. (And she knows who he is vaguely, since he’s one of her mom’s close friends she refers to him as Uncle)
It could also be that she hasn't fully memorized the order of the lights yet (cuz I think she just started second grade) or she could have been confused since the second light was going off instead of the third one, even though it was green. She was definitely looking at the light and hesitating though, she wasn't *just* waiting on her nanny.
yeonjin doesn't like the abuse and she was very scared but she needed Jaejun to calm down and to continue to manipulate him
She cared more about going on TV with something on her neck but she wasn't scared, she never was by him, it's obvious in the way she treated him
