- For all the supporters to the lost edition of Thomas And The Magic Railroad, I have some very important news. Mattel is finally listening to us. I'm closing down my petition at change.org and all the signatures gathered from there will be transfer to Restore The Magic. We're moving onto the final step. On May 1st all signatures combined will be sent to Mattel where they'll be making a decision of the lost edition. May this be an achievement we'll never ever forget. Be sure to tell your family and friends about the Restore The Magic Campaign. Thank you for all of your support!

You have done a tremendous job in campaining to get the lost edition of Thomas and the Magic Railroad released, so all Thomas and Friends fans can see Britt Allcroft’s vision and version of the movie. I am so happy and proud to be a part of the whole campaign and how over the years it has gotten so much stronger unlike before or since. I loved how it has also gotten the attention of the Facebook page of Thomas & Friends and Britt Allcroft has delivered a message that she thanks everyone for all the support we're giving for her story. She's the kindest person and a brilliant storyteller I've ever known and the lost edition of Thomas And The Magic Railroad will be our gift to her.
They should release The Lost Edition next year for TATMR’s 20th anniversary.
As It would takes months to restore the lost missing footage of the film. If things go well afterwards, I hope the Lost Edition will be ready for next year.

That line was one of the reasons that inspired me to start my petition at Change.org. The film itself also delivers the same message that we must help someone to bring back the magic and restore it back to life just as we've been doing for the Lost Edition. TATMR is a gem to me. Britt Allcroft deserves her shining time as well.
That's a very nice strong message indeed. But if you don't mind me asking, when the lost edition of the film is released, would it also be shown to Amazon, Ebay or Digital Download?
That would be Mattel's decision on how to release the lost edition. Personally, I would like a collectible Blu-Ray copy that I can always hold onto for many years. With the DVD copy as well, I'm going to just toss out the DVD of the 2000 edited version and put the original version in its place.

I heard from the team of Restore The Magic that it's the intended goal. To have the lost edition restored and released for it's 20th anniversary next year.
I hope thomas and the magic railroad directors cut will be released next year since that's how it'll be going according to plan I hope it'll be awesome and let God allow birtt allcroft's true film to come true

If they say no file a lawsuit to get it released, it is your first amendment right to get it released even though they might not do it! lol

I never got a chance to sign my name on the petition for TATMR. Is the original version of the movie still going to be released?
All of the scenes removed from the film are released as a bonus feature on the Blu-Ray. This is technically a victory.

@@ThomasLover-fr8nhI would also like to see the full version of it as well, a small part of me is hoping that Sony and Mattel will release the full director’s cut/ lost edition in all of it’s glory with a new score in 2025 for the film’s 25th anniversary! This was not really a victory. 😢
Do you think the DC of TATMR should still be released? Well, It might save the whole film, It's that Sony owns the rights and Mattel owns Thomas totally.
Some way, Some how, We gotta find a way to make it possible for it to be released in 2020.
TATMR was not a bad idea, MLP: The Movie (2017) is. It was a good idea to begin with. I'm glad this film existed.
IT'S NOT BRITT ALLCROFT'S FAULT!!!!!
If the director's cut was released, It would be a success, But it might be a decent film by critics, Because of maybe how much of a failure it was, At least we're getting closer to TATMR: FS&U getting released most likely.
