It's always weird finding geekshare designs and products sold on third party sites and at a much cheaper price. Then there's BMO so we're left wondering which BMO came first. What I am glad for is the wide variety of gear n accessories for the Switch. Thank you for sharing all the finds, both weird, bad, and amazing.

Because it all comes from the same factory. Amazon, Aliexpress, Wish and all other sites like that just get products from a single place in bulk and then resell them.

I was expecting him to fall - but I had to correct myself and I said "no man that would be really bad the shelf is right there, he would end up cracking his egg open or something and THAT would not be funny. I could see the chair start to move and then the video cutting..
There's a long story behind the BMO. The 3d printed one came first and is more expensive because of the small team behind printing it and shipping the orders (they got hit over the pandemic). I can't find their tiktoks but yea, Ali express made a "better mold" of a fan made design

@@gabsydoesstuff That is *not* how copyright works. Fan art is a grey area thats only considered ok by most because *most of the time* the artist isn't making any money off it. Them *selling* the bmo switch holder and making a profit means its not fair use (or a grey area) anymore. Unless they've actually gone to the trouble of getting the proper permissions from the relevant copyright holders *which I doubt*, they are *absolutely* infringing on the copyright.

Artists tend to work around it by selling the "tutorial" of how to make the fan art.
Hey Wood! Just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for introducing me to Satisfye grips! I got one for myself in anticipation for Rune Factory 5, and when I got it last month I realized how badly my disabled 65 year old father NEEDED one. My mom and I got him a Switch Lite for his birthday last year since he loves video games and Nintendo as much as I do (he is the one who got me into video games as a kid, in fact!). He and my mom love playing Animal Crossing together, but because he has nerve damage he has really bad tremors in his hands. He can play his Switch, but his hands cramp up super fast and it becomes so frustrating to him because all he wants to do is play a game but his body wonât let him.
The same day I got my grip in the mail I immediately got online and ordered another one for him. It has been a game changer for him. He can play for way longer before needing a break and can press all the buttons much easier. At the risk of sounding super sappy, itâs so heartwarming to see him enjoying his favorite games again without it causing him pain and frustration. His health has gotten really bad over the last few years, so anything that brings him a bit of happiness and some laughs is blessing for us. And it feels really good to be able to absolutely own him in Mario Kart again đ

Often with the knockoff LEGO sets there is a slightly more expensive option that will include a set of printed instructions. Quality of the instructions depends on the knockoff brand. Some are very robust and well printed, others aren't to scale/poorly colored which makes following them more difficult. In my experience it's worth paying the $5-10 for the booklet.
For the ring fit...I could have used it for trips to the cabin. Sadly, my son owned it, hated it and sold while he was serving in the Air Force forgetting that I loved it. đ€Ł
I remember those foam things, my dad forgot me at the library for a couple hours while I played with them and I made a nice tunnel while I waited for him to remember and come back. You'd think it'd be a negative memory, but it was too funny to see him running back in and actually apologizing/admitting he blanked on my being with him that day. I think it was my trust in libraries that got me through it haha.

Regarding the portable dock: The only one that is actually recommendable is the one from Genki, they make amazing switch accessoirs (not a native speaker hopefully it is right and not as bad as aliexpress :D )

That cooling grip would be nice in the event that you are charging your switch and playing on it in handheld mode. For some reason every time I am doing that, it makes the internal fans start spinning and heats the back up đ.

Fan might have been useful for me last year when my fan was dying in my switch, but I just replaced the fan myself so, eh. Replacing it was a lot cheaper than that fan grip is anyway.
I personally prefer grips that sit low. I only play games that use rhe d pad buttons in handheld cause I don't want to mess up the joysticks so I loved the og/v2 skull &Co grips. Sadly the oled model has put them on an angle to make it more ergonomic with the joysticks but in doing so is way less comfortable using the fave buttons.

My one issue with that bag at the end, which is really the same issue for all swirch bags, is most don't have cutouts fornthe joysticks or any sort of protection for the joycons. It's just a thin pouch
Same, the main problem with joy cons is drift which seems to be caused by wear and tear on the joysticks, it's why I always try to make sure there's nothing touching them if I can, or they have proper support. I wouldnt just put them in a thin pouch since they'd be easy to knock around or catch which could put a deep groove into the contact they use causing the drift...
The fan grip is useful for the first model switch, because that one had over heating problems, but only really while in the dock....
i have a third party doc and it actually works very well and itâs a bit small and came with a little box that has a magnet so it can stay closed and itâs easy to take around and although thereâs only one usb port, iâve had it for a year now and it always works well
